Lovely hotel and it got everything what I need including swimming pool, gym and beautiful view of the valley while eating meal and bonfire outside the backyard of this hotel near the swimming pool.

Outstanding views, especially at dawn and dusk. Shuttle is good. Tent food is superb. Outstanding hospitality. Loved the sand artist.

This is an amazing place! The whole staff is genuine and friendly. Although a 5 star hotel, this gives an authentic Jordanian experience. Amazing hospitality and amenities. The restaurant serves authentic Jordanian food AND western favorites if you are not feeling adventurous. The waiters are all now my friends and they are great to speak with (English spoken well). The tea they serve is great and comes with a view of the Petra mountains. The spa and the pool are both a great way to relax after a long trip to Petra. The staff managing that treated me very well. Good taxi service. This was my favorite place of my 2 week stay in Jordan.

Very nice hotel with good security just outside of town. Overlooks the valley and city next to Petra. Atmosphere is nice, food is very good and the area is secluded.

Great breakfast, nice outdoir pool but a bit cold in the beginning of September. Good sunset views. Slightly old style decor but consider the rest of the hotels it's a fabulous choice. Personally, I think one should experience sleeping in a tent in Wadi Ram

This place is gorgeous. The location is excellent. The viw is astonishing & the ambience especially in the evening was fantastic. The rooms were clean, the service and staff were magnificent. It was all in all a great stay and worth the money we have paid.

Superb view over Petra mountains. Reasonable space in the rooms. Breakfast buffet repetitive so stay only 1 day max 2 days. Good location to prepare a visit to Petra.

since our arrival receptionist and bellboys where very friendly ,at restaurant all staff made us feel like home . A member of my family was feeling a little sick ,and chef send her a delicious lentil soup and a ginger tea .
the manager Mr Moayed Nawafleh was awesome .its five star plus .
I definitely recommend Petra Marriott hotel to everyone and next time of course i will stay there no doubts

Very good hotel, great breakfast and view. Been there in New Year's Eve. They have a 100usd dinner for 3 hours. Nice and quiet bar. High security.
Not close to the Petra site, but 8-10km away. If you have a car, this is not a problem.
We ate out, at AL WADI RESTAURANT.

Very nice hotel, amazing service. Located 10min from the visiting center I highly recommend it. There's 2 restaurants, a buffet and a la carte. And the Spa us the perfect reward after a long day wandering in Petra.

I have never had in my life, such great service, genuine and generous staff! Amazing experience, welcoming staff, nice and helpful people all over this hotel!They will go the extra mile to help you and satisfy you, and make sure you do not need anything! Mr. Mahmoud the hotel manager, his service manager, and all the staff are amazing people! I would recommend picking this hotel, if I am going again to Petra, is to stay at this hotel!

The Petra Marriott is a really nice hotel. The rooms were spacious with really comfortable beds. The shower and bathroom was luxurious. We were able to watch an incredible sunset while relaxing in our room. They have a sports bar and a restaurant.

I was upcharged for two person occupation even though the hotel policy clearly states that the upcharge only applies to people AFTER two. Air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night. Ice machines are not available for customer use, and the service staff did never brought the ice requested to my room in the evening. Ice was denied to me the following morning because "there was only enough in the hotel for the restaurant breakfast". Front desk staff was very rude and unprofessional. Restaurant and bar staff were excellent. The views were amazing.

The room smelled so badly when we came in, heavy cigarettes and it took a while for the ac to clear the air. The food is ok, but staff tried their best to accomodate requests and provide good service

The staff here is outstanding and very friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. Each of our rooms, however, seemed to have something that wasn't quite working right a night light in one room and the hot-water-only sink and leaky shower in another.

Love everything about this hotel. It offers a great alternative to the other sometimes more expensive options Wadi Musa has to offer. The pool/terrace view is worth every penny. The only downside to this hotel is the dated furniture and decor.

All in all, highly recommended.

Stayed two nights here. The staffs are English spoken and friendly, speak slower if you find that they are struggling. I came for the sunset view, spectacular! Its a 10 minute drive to the town, a 30 minute stroll if you wish to walk with your loved ones. The streets are safe. If you are here for a night, please make sure you arrive here before 4pm. The sun set is something you should look forward to!

If your looking for a memorable hotel stay in Petra keep looking. There is nothing about this hotel that is amazing except it's name, which it sadly doesn't live up to Marriott standards at all. The people here could care less if you enjoy your stay. If you complain they don't even offer so much as an apology. The food is mediocre and bland. My current room view is of another shutdown hotel so don't assume you will get a decent view. The beds are hard as a rock. The bathroom looked like they hadn't even cleaned it since the last guest. Most of the amenities are closed right now so I hope your room view is amazing because that's all you will have to do for the night. Do yourself a favor and do the research to find a better hotel with better service somewhere else. Don't put a damper on a great trip to Petra going to this Marriott that is identical to a Marriott in Nebraska, USA.

Beautiful hotel overlooking Petra and the surrounding mountains. The staff are friendly, the food there was very good and plentiful. The hotel has good security. The room I had overlooked the valley and it was very picturesque. The bed was large and very comfortable and the baths were excellent. The massage and spa is also nice but with room for plenty of improvement. The rooms also had all the needed amenities to make the guest comfortable. I recommend this hotel and would stay here if my travels take me back.
