Excellent hotel, clean room, attentive staff. I can’t speak highly enough in regards to staff who always went extra mile to make our stay enjoyable and stress fee. Hotel accommodated all our requests for our infant son and made our trip worthwhile. We’ll definitely be back, recommending hotel to my friends and relatives.

Excellent place to stay in Florence. Situated on the Arno river that runs through the centre of Florence, the Villa is about 2km or a 20 min walk from the city centre. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus into Florence in the mornings with return trips in the afternoon. In addition to fast and easy to use WiFi throughout the hotel, there is also free portable WiFi routers to take with you into the city. Perfect to find a place for lunch or a nice glass of wine that is not just full of tourists! Excellent staff, professional who also spoke very good English. The downstairs restaurant was exceptional, a true fine dining experience. Finally, there is an attached day spa with the option of treatments or massages. However, the warm pool, sauna and steam room were available for free to also help you relax. I could not recommend this place more highly, the best place we stayed while on our honeymoon in Italy!

Excellent staff, kind and helpful with all questions. Rooms were clean and classy. 25 minutes from city centre but shuttle offered throughout the day at certain times. Would be helpful to include an airport shuttle with hotel pricing. Breakfast was an extra cost, good selection. We ate dinner once at the restaurant and was delayed. They tried to serve us a large seafood platter that we never ordered. Had steak and risotto, that took over an hour to get to the table. The food was good but service needs improvement.
Pools (indoor and outdoor) were lovely and the massage was very relaxing. Overall, a great stay but the restaurant needs improvements. Would recommend eating at local trattorias instead.response / report this review -

We traveled to Florence September 2017,
accommodation was great, rooms very nice and tasteful. Staff at reception polite. Hotel have bikes that you can use to get to city in no time or you can walk 25-30 min. Breakfast at restaurant exceptional, Dinner however was a bit of disappointment. Service was lovely but for not busy evening still managed to mess up orders and we waited 1,5 h for starter vino was way and truly finished before main.

Hotel room was perfect facing the river of Florence. Very tidy and clean. Excellent service with WIFI in the room and complementary mobile WIFI hotspot to borrow. Breakfast was delicious too. Only downside is 15-20min walk from city centre. But free shuttle is available to city centre.

This was our first stay in Florence. Saw reviews for this hotel and once we had seen the location and pictures of the rooms and facilities we chose it immediately. Could not have been happier. The decor is superb ,the breakfast and dining area are a joy to use. The hotel manages to give a homely feel. The staff are all very helpful and serve you with a smile as if nothing is too much trouble. They gave us at no charge a wifi router to take with us as we explored this beautiful city. We were able to use it everywhere we went .Very helpful for google maps if you what to see how far the next sight is. This has been our favourite hotel in all the hotels we have stayed in while touring many places all over Italy.

Such a beautiful hotel would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff were all wonderful and the whole hotel was immaculate. Loved the decor. The shuttle was great for getting into the centre. The spa was lovely very relaxing. It has been the best hotel I have stayed in and it has made my stay in Florence/30th birthday unforgettable!
