Lovely campste with great swimming pool and facilities, but don't leave your awning open when you bus into Florence as you might come back to a seriously damaged awning as happened to us! No one else appeared to have any damage to their awnings. We were the only Brits in the area where we were placed. The campsite personnel were lovely people and I would go back again.

The gave us an efficient welcome; you are shown around the site by electro cart to choose a pitch - which is very convenient. The pitches are apropriate in size and you can have sun or shade. The swimming pool is nice, too, but you have to wear a bathing cap (Hey, I didn't have to wear a bathing cap since the 1960s!!). The restaurant is popular with the locals, so you'd better reserve a table. The toilet block is clean with sufficient showers, but there are no single person washing units which is a must these days. We don't want to stand in a row like we used to in the boy scouts' camp and clean our (false) teeth and wobbly armpits, do we? If you've got a dog, beware! There are no dog walks around the campsite, although the site is in the countrysite. The bus to Firenze is convenient. It is cheap and it takes an hour to go to the city centre. It's bearably crowded if you travel by 11 o'clock. The return trip might be more crowded, so be prepared for little space on the bus.

Check in for motorhome was easy and we had no reservation. Staff spoke excellent English. Pitch was adequate and somewhat shady. Bathrooms were excellent, clean and close to pitch. We used laundry and got all clothes in one load, money well spent. There was a holiday party during our stay, free fruit and wine, fun bonus. Pool rules are silly, who wears a swim cap in this day an age unless you are a prof swimmer!! I just wore a baseball hat. Bought tickets for bus at reception and it was an easy trip into Florence, just beware the bus station home is a little difficult to find and the buses may run early!! Unbelievable but we missed out by 5 mins. 🙃

People, dont be stupid and buy your bus ticket from the driver, like everyone would do it. You save 50%!
The camping is 24h noisy because of the highway nearby. No soap in the toilets. 5€ for 1x washing machine. Must pay with cash if you stay less than 3 days. They try to store your ID until checkout!!!response / report this review -

Quite noisy, especially during the night when lots of trucks go through adjacent highway. Otherwise ok.
