14.5€ for 2 dishes, a side dish, wine, and service charge is no bad deal by any means, but you get what you pay for.

Out of all the dishes we got, the wild boar fettuccine was the most decent. I had to return the ribolita because it was cold (obviously microwaved) and the carbonara was the weirdest one I tasted yet - very yellow and almost sweet. The rest was just OK at best. As long as you don't come with great expectations you'll be fine.

Absolutely delicious, and a fantastic deal. We arrived a few minutes before 3:30pm, so got the lunch deal for €10 per person. It included two main courses, a side, water and wine as well as the coperto. Beef stew and gnocchi were great. Absolutely recommended!

Love this place! The prices and food are exceptional! We ended up coming here twice because the food and service was amazing. The gnocchi with the roasted potatoes and cheese plate with honey is the best meal we had in Florence.

Great food at a reasonable price - great value. Everything was obviously made fresh and was delicious. I suggest the beef stew! Staff are friendly, proficient and switch between Italian and English easily. Just don't confuse the lunch menu in the window for the dinner menu. One the the few places in Florence I would come back to.

Great food for the price. 2 courses + a bottle of water for €13.50; add €1 for a soft drink or wine. The menu was straightforward and easy to understand. Highlights of the dinner: the grilled chicken, although the steak and seafood platters looked really good! Will def. come back here to try those. The food is quite a lot, but they have a pretty strict no sharing policy (in that each diner should order their own set, not split a set between them).

I had a very very good meal. It was only €12 with a good amount of wine plus 2 dishes and 1 side dish. Grilled potato and spaghetti with mushroom were the best!

Wow! What a find. 3 minutes walk from our hotel and the best value that we have found so far in Italy. A choice of 2 mains and 1 side from the menu of the day with water, bread and wine and all for only 14.50 euros each. I'm guessing that this is a family run Trattoria and they should be very proud of their establishment. Every mouthful was both tasty and satisfying and the service friendly and attentive. Simple decor with no pretensions and full of locals who obviously know a good thing when they are onto it. We happily paid extra for cantucci and vin santo and for the coffees to follow and still the bill only came to just over 40 euros. Fantastic value and most definitely worth a return visit.

Amazing place to dine. Menu is in both English and Italian. Honestly the best price-portion ratio for the money I think we paid 14 euro each. That came with wine and 3 courses. Great service small and quiet. If you have the chance you must stop. One of our favorites from Rome to Riva del Garda!

Surprisingly delicious, the restaurant is small and very family style. The price can't be beat, and the pasta dishes are great. Recommend the fettuccine with boar sauce and gnocchi with mushrooms. Green peas with bacon is a really good side dish, also enjoyed their chicken leg in sweet wine sauce.

While there is no dish that this restaurant is particularly known for, I think you are definitely given your money's worth in terms of portion. Despite being situated in a very tourist populated area, my family found ourselves seated amongst many tables of locals. The food arrives hot and tasty and in generous amounts, the menu is available in Italian and in English. The staff are friendly and happy to help with any questions you may have.
