I stayed here for 2 nights in November and it was wonderful. Excellent location. The Staff is warm and so helpful. The housekeeping is superb. The room is comfortable. Everything was ellegant.

Place is really nice. Old styled but with high tech amenities. The room was comfortable and cosy. The palm buddy is an awesome touch. Free calls, room service and tour guide. Food is great along with the service. As you step out the door you are treated by high fashion shops.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Helvetia and Bristol in Florence. This was undoubtedly the best hotel during our stay in Italy. The rooms are small (though this is expected almost everywhere) but the coziness and the service in the hotel are what made it amazing. I would definitely stay here again

We stayed at the Hotel Helvetia & Bristol for a week while in Florence. We had a wonderful time. The entire staff was exceptional in taking care of us during our visit. Francesco (of the front desk staff) was great in his recommendations on how to see Tuscany (rent a car) and Cinque Terre (take a tour). He arranged both for us and was spot on with a route to see Tuscany.

We had book the hotel as part of a tour package and it included a breakfast buffet (it was great) and the chef would prepare eggs, etc as you like.

The only item that keeps me from giving the highest score was the room temperature; did not seem the cooling system could cool the room down. Fortunately; it was cool at night and things quieten down so we slept with the windows open.

We stayed just one night at the Helvetia & Bristol, and we both wished we could have stayed longer. The Hotel is beautiful, and the location is so convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The staff was so welcoming and helpful to us during our brief stay. Our room was quite lovely and well furnished. It was also a very comfortable size--not small like so many other hotels. The breakfast buffet was included with our room, and it was delicious. The service at check-in was excellent as was the staff in the restaurant and the bar. We are planning to return to Florence, and we would love to stay at the Helvetia & Bristol again. We enjoyed every minute.

My wife and I stayed here during out stay in Florence. We can't say enough about the level of service from the staff. Attentive, genuine and wonderful with recommendations and advice. The hotel itself is full of character and in a wonderful location in Florence. The rooms although not modern are clean, good size, decorated to period and very nice. I highly recommend.

Honestly, the hotel is kind of old but it is ok, it has a nice campfire in the lobby and the hotel rooms are quite large. The best thing about the hotel is the location. My only complaint is that the hotel should change the wall colors.

Hotel was in a great location; it was easily walk-able to all the major sites and great restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for where to eat. The room was very clean and the breakfast exceeded my expectations. Would definitely come back again!

Nice hotel. Decor is very traditional. My single room is small and the carpet is a bit worn. However, the bed is comfortable and the linen is good quality. Bathroom products are Etro. Breakfast was included in my rate and there is a nice buffet available.

Had a great stay here and will definitely be back next time in Florence.
The service was top notch- Viviana even wrote us personalized recommendations for places to eat in Rome which is where we were heading after Florence.
The room was very nice and the breakfast was great .
Best of all was the location
