This was hands down one of the best restaurants I ever been to. The atmosphere and overall experience was outstanding. The food was 5 star quality and the service was with a smile and I’ll definitely come back again

Just amazing. I hate when higher end restauranta meet expectations. This place was fantastic. Risotto was about best I've ever had. Pumpkin ravioli was great. Roasted chicken with potatoes was great.
We booked a second dinner for our last night.
Not cheap but great bang for your dollar.

You will need a reservation, but it's worth it. Charming restaurant with great food, very friendly service. Try the namesake Wild Boar, but their pasta dishes are also excellent. A memorable meal!

Great little restaurant, was very busy when we tried to get a table on the Thursday evening, so it maybe worth booking ahead. We were lucky and could come back in an hours time for a table. The menu is very pork / meat heavy, I would recommend the baby pig if you like Pork it was very tasty!

As the former owner if a steakhouse, I have to say the T-bone steak for the table was terrific. It was cooked beautifulkg (rare as all good meat should) and nicely seasoned.

The negatives - the space is very small and the tables are cramped. Even tough we opened the place for dinner apparently, we were given the table by the door and my chair was on the main aisle so I was bumped non stop. Also, this place was perhaps 90% tourist. Service was solid, though nothing special.

Amazing place! Atmosphere is really authentic and homey. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was the best we've had in Firenze. Make a reservation, or you'll be looking through the window!

Great atmosphere, very friendly service. We dropped in quite late and they went out of there to accommodate us. Good for steak, nice wine list and reasonably priced. Recommend.

Il really loved this place, typical Italian kitchen and the best courtesy I've ever encountered! :) The meat is very good and also the wine selection. I suggest you the maialino al latte and the tiramisù!

I had the most amazing seasoned roast pork here, with a good house wine and lemon sorbet to top it off. My wife enjoyed chicken with pecorino and porcini mushrooms. We didn't have reservations but the owner seated us within a few minutes anyway. The service was very friendly with great atmosphere as well. Highly recommended!

I loved this place. If you're looking for a proper Florentine meal, away from the tourist traps, go here!As soon as we walked in i was hit with the divine scent of truffles permeating the air. The food was very tasty indeed and the service was excellent. Our waitress was lovely and keen to help us as much as possible.
