DO NOT go to this restaurant the staff would rather spit on you than be nice to you here. There is always a waiter with gray hair and a younger blond waitress who are fighting and normally making rude comments about the customers in Italian; so that the foreigners can't understand them. Go to any other restaurant besides this one in Santo Spirito. RUDEST STAFF EVER!!!
Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The surrounding Piazza is lively and just the place to sit and people~watch. The food prices are very reasonable and the quality great.
EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPOLITE SERVICE. We were given seats in table of four with another couple and when we asked them if we could sit on an empty table alone they were very rude and impertinent. When we asked the waiter for more time to think about what we wanted to order, he laughed at us.
The food is nothing special at all, calzone was pure dough and the pizza was like chewing gum. I've eaten way better and more quantity for half the price.
Don't go, try the ones nearest to the church!
Coffee was good. Gelato was good. Service was fast but not friendly, I did not feel welcome . Nice atmosphere though.
Staff is rude. Very rude. During our dinner, which took 30 minutes, we saw 2 groups of customers being asked to leave: the first family because they only wanted drinks and appetizers, the second, a couple, because they wanted to sit in a more comfortable table and the waiter said they could only sit in the tight table and took the menus out of the couple.
The toilet was dirty and stinky.
Nice location. Service poor. Staff abrupt and arogant. Steak over cooked, asked for rare but we'll cooked written down. Owner argued with me and said it was my fault. waiting staff didn't know what table to deliver food to.
Another table asked for the heater to be turned on but told it was too hot. Shan't be returning, only kept going by tourist trade. Find another restaurant and have an amazing time in this woderful city.
Very average food, place looks rundown. The only good thing about the place is its location
Wonderful local cuisine. Try the black kale ravioli.
Waiter has no clue what to recommend you for tourists who can't understand an Italian menu. Coffee tasted like it came out straight from a packet you buy at the supermarket. The cheap brand. Bread was stale. We ordered pasta. It came out undercooked. Overpriced. Definitely a tourist trap. Should've read the review before we walked in. Very disappointed.
Hilariously bad. The wine tasted like watered down vinegar and the cheese antipasto had mould on it and tasted like rotten milk. We obviously started to feel increasingly nervous about the mains to come- and rightly so! The pasta was actually hokkien noodles, chewy and square. The ravioli resembled cat food but somehow tasted worst than it looked. And also ended up with half a pizza with part of it folded and filled with something- like a kinder surprise pizza (it wasn't a calzone pizza). I'm glad we ordered water though. That was nice.
