Comfortable, quiet, beautiful surroundings. Pleasant, friendly staff. Lovely rooms a welcome change. 10 minutes walk along the seafront to the vaporetta. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel on the Lido, Michael the host knows all the hot spots. Hooked us up on a tour of the glass factory in Murano, and saw the lovely Burano. The room was big, and there was a huge breakfast everyday. Very accommodating staff, would recommend, and return again. A+++++

Hotel is too old with small rooms, trees are everywhere which is having lots of flies in the balcony, unfortunately bad smell in the toilets sometimes, the best part is their staff very nice, pleasant and helpful and the hotel is in very safe area which is makes my stay little good but overall it was bad experience to me, cuz the hotel was reserved through travel agencies not by myself:(

Friendly, helpful staff. A little far from things to do in Venice but so much easier to get to the hotel and get your luggage in and out so I'd say it's worth it. Water bus is super easy to navigate back and forth.

The staff is very pleasant, restaurants are just a few minutes walk. The shoreline is close by, with a beautiful sunset.

The staff where lovely the only thing I would add that if you are staying in the original part of the hotel the walls are very thin so you can hear the bathroom next door like you were standing in it .
In fairness to the staff we didn't raise this as an issue as we were only there for three nights so it wasn't the end of the world.
It is probably the low end of 4 star in my opinion but don't let that put you off. If you don't want to stay in the main part of Venice then the Lido is a good choice and this hotel will serve you reasonably well.
It is about 12 mns walk from the public ferry along the waterside, is is safe and clean and the ferries (which are expensive) are regular (24 hours) The breakfast is limited but fresh, the bar is similar limited and not staffed but by request.
But like I said all in all to be fair it was ok not spectacular but definitely ok :)response / report this review
