We were here in July for our wedding anniversary. The meal was wonderful and one of, if not the best culinary experiences of our lives. Our two year old was with us and they made us feel right at home. We weren't rushed at all and every plate was so fresh and made so much sense with it's wine paring. Cannot recommend hihgly enough!
Absolutely fantastic, Sicilian faire. Beautiful linens and fantastic service. The bacon octopus anti pasti was sublime and the monk fish medallions were magnificent. One must have the amazing Sicilian bread and young Olive oil. Highly recommended.
Fabulous food!
I have eaten here three times so far and today I am going again. The food is excellent, not the usual tourist fare. Very distinguished service, lovely wine selection and the food is just brilliant. I am not the world's biggest fish eater, but here I love eating it! The bill reflects the quality of this place, but on paying I feel that I got my money's worth.
slow food
A quiet, rainy evening meant we were one of only two couples here, but that meant we got friendly, personal service. The food was great - even for a non-fish-eater; and the recommended wine was probably the best we've had so far in Sicily. There was a spectacular bread plate included, and an equally wonderful cheese course. And we got the first tiny strawberries of the season - just a bit bigger than blueberries, they tasted of rose water. We both felt the primi somewhat more inventive/better than the secondi. But that's nit-picking: it was a wonderful meal. Highly recommended.
My brother and I had been here, I think the place is the best restaurant in the city of Sciacca. Here you can find the best wine and the best fish dishes of the sicilian traditional food. If you came in Sciacca don't miss it!
We had one of our finest dining experiences in Sciacca here. A very small restaurant but run very professionally with friendly waiters always nearby and food prepared quickly and with great care. The owner was also waiting tables that night. We were a party of four who had antipasti starters which were a sort of shrimp potato mash which tasted fantastic and risotto. For mains we had steak, veal rolls and st.Peter fish. Everything tasted great. The deserts were also fine except for one which was a melon slush so avoid that one. All in all you should definitely eat here at least once if staying in Sciacca.
