  Just checked in, nice hotel, great location. Haven't tried any amenities yet, but I'm optimistic. Service so far has been much nicer than expected. Seems they only converted to a Marriott recently, so they still provide boutique service.

  5 star price, 2 star service, 4 star room. Staff is rude and unhelpful, no privacy as the staff enter your room unannounced, valet parking is nonexistent, generally an unpleasant experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I’d avoid this hotel, especially if traveling by car.

  We had for great nights at this fabulous hotel. Pool was great in the August heat. Breakfast buffet was good. Walking distance to most classic tourist destinations. Four stars because the WiFi was inconsistent and the price per night was so high.

  I've booked a room with terrace for a special occasion for two nights.
  
  The room was dirty, there were a lot of cigarettes on the terrace.
  
  Jacuzzi on terrace was also dirty and smelt like s
  
  The front manager (Marco Bratto) was very rude. He said that terrace was dirty due to the strong wind (so strong that brought cigarettes to the fifth floor) and jacuzzi smells just fine. He also added that if we don't like the hotel we can leave it but the penalty of 100% will be charged.
  
  We've left Sina Villa Medici immediately after these words. This hotel and staff have nothing to do with 5 stars.
  
  We went to Helvetia & Bristol, great hotel by the way.

  Nice hotel with very friendly welcome and service. Smallish rooms that has the historic look. Very nice and modern bathrooms. Small pool outside in the garden.

  Overall lovely hotel. Friendly staff (especially Yaser - he was WONDERFUL!), beautiful rooms, and comfortable surroundings. The location is a bit outside of the center of town, however nothing that impacted our time at all.

  Grand Hotel indeed! We enjoyed a few nights while taking in Firenze. Seems everything is a short walk away.
  
  Very interesting hotel with many rooms filled with artifacts, luxurious amenities. Certain aspects of this vintage hotel are not what some tourists may expect. But overall, a treat to enjoy what this hotel offers.
  
  The staff are very helpful and make every effort to ensure a delightful stay.
