I have stayed in a few hotels in Sorrento, and the Flora is definitely the best. It is clean and bright, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It is well situated, just a few minutes from the town centre, but quiet. The food is excellent, the breakfast menu is amazing!!!

Paid extra for balcony got one overlooking petrol station and car wash. Swimming pool massive very clean some say cold but I was fine with it. Breakfast plentiful and good but evening meal very basic, courgette three days in row! Locality good for access to town where there are excellent eating places.

The hotel was beautiful with lovely rooms that have amazing old hand painted floor tiling. The bed was two twin beds pushed together (I found this to be the norm in boutique hotels in the same price range) and very firm.

Air conditioning and a blow dryer in the room was a plus, however, it would have been nice to be able to use an iron. The front desk said that irons are not provided or available for use but, with 24hr notice you could pay for your clothes to be ironed for you.

The food for breakfast and dinner (wasn't around for lunch) was good and they provided a fair few options and the dining room (on the 5th floor) and had a gorgeous view. A great opportunity to grab some landscape photos. I enjoyed the hotel, but wished the pool was open before 9am and a little after 6pm as I was never able to have a swim. It was quite enticing.

Pretty good location, nice room sizes. Like the rest of Europe there's twin beds either pushed together or not that are pretty hard. We ended up with two different rooms, first one was dirty and not up to par but we booked very last minute. They promised a better room the next day and delivered one with a decent view and in much better shape. The staff is pleasant

We stayed here in may.. Perfect time weather wise.. Rooms are small but you're hopefully not in your room in this full service hotel 2 bars, dancing, breakfast and dinner on the 5the floor everyday no charge, beautiful huge pool but also a place to get out of the sun near the pool area with shady tables and service. Step outside this nice looking establishment and you have so very much to do, from excursions, bar hopping, shopping, great food and more.. Be sure to take the ferry to Capri island. Happy travels! No language barrier.

Very helpful staff, great swimming pool, lovely good, but weird that the hotel is in two adjacent building as had to get the lift down five floors then up five floors to get to breafast every day. Lovely view from dining room of Vesuvius and the Mediterranean.

Door frame for our bathroom was already broken, the bathroom door would get stuck (hinge problem of some sort), safe didn't work either and the fridge door was locked but stayed open (couldn't close the door). The wifi worked , just wish it wasn't so limited in speed. Breakfast was good, service was good though.

The hotel is lovely, the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. The pool is perfect for a dip to cool off at the end of the day and it is only a short walk into town and to the bus / train station. It is a must to upgrade to a pool / sea view so you aren't over the road with all the noisy scooters going past. Plus with a sea view you can see Naples and Vesuvius. As an as side don't get any trips from your tour reps. Seriously walk into town and book from any of the many places you will save at lest €20 each. There are people selling Pompeii trips at the station for €35 per person including entry, train and tour, From Thomson it was €50ish per person and that doesn't include entry!

Flora is a great hotel with good location to main square and shopping. only lacking feature is the food. However it tastes better than it looks. Would definitely stay again, perhaps not half board.
