Beautiful setting, good facilities. There was even a foot bridge across the river.

LOVE this place. After we finished our trail, we had some rest time at this nice campsite to be ready for trail to Skogar. Happy for small food shop and possibility to buy a map - a good one, but still 10 years old and 1:50.000but still :) We were lucky to have a sunny weather. If you ike mashrooms, this place is real pleasure for you ;)

Cool little campsite, most beautiful on the Laugavegur. Only thing that was annoying is that it fills up fast so try to get there early.

This was the best campsite during our two weeks in Iceland (yes, it's not long enough. Hard to imagine anything might be..). Easily.
Great warden, great place, amazing view.
We had bad luck with a few spanish people occupying the showers for about forever - the other one was defective (end of season, I admit).
I'll come again, for sure. I'll make my mother come here too. Yes, it's that great.response / report this review
