This place is amaaazzzing. The view around the hotel is stunning. The young man (who seemed to do everything from running the front desk to serving food in the dining room) was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a few minutes away from Skogafoss Waterfall and Seljavallalaug. The room itself was basic but had everything that we needed. Some side tables, a desk, a rack to hang our coats. The shower reminded me of showers at public swimming pools. It was pretty open to the rest of the bathroom, but it did its job. I personally would recommend bringing flip flops to shower with. There are 2 dogs that hang out around the outside of the hotel. They won't bother you if you let them be, but if you pet them and play with them they're SUPER friendly and sweet :) I'd definitely stay here again!

The hotel is situated in a area with a lot of attraction, which makes it perfect for tourists. The rooms are very modern and minimalistic and everything seems very new.

Breakfast was super tasty with a lot to choose from, the chef made sure that everything was alright by our table and even made more bacon for us when we requested it, although it was almost past breakfast time.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, we had problems with our Wi-Fi late at night, at they were happy to help even though it was past bedtime, BIG thumbs up for that.

There are also a couple dogs in the area that are VERY VERY friendly and cute, which makes it a really great place for dog lovers too. And if you are not very into dogs, you should not worry, because they won't bother you, if you don't bother them.

Will definitely be staying there again, when visiting Iceland in the future!

Just had a great meal at the restaurant. Chicken breast with salad. While it may sound quite basic it was nothing of the sort.

As always the meal was expensive but in this case well worth it by Icelandic price metrics.

I also had one of the exceptional local beers from Borg Brugghús, No. 19 Icelandic Stout.

The rooms are clean, tidy and spacious however lack adequate temperature control other than opening the window.

There was also a great doggo to greet all guests.

Location is great, rooms are decent, staff is nice and friendly. The food is expensive even for Iceland and Internet is touch and go

Nice place on route 1, with DELICIOUS icelandic food, i highly recommend this place.
Dominic our waiter was really sweet, we just had to go back the 2nd evening and it was also délicious.

Really comfortable and incredibly well situated hotel, halfway between Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Surprisingly great evening food, we sat and watched the lambs skipping around in the field outside. Best thing - great service at reception and in the restaurant, and a friendly dog to greet visitors!

We had a rooms in separate from the main building, but was a nice room, big and cleaned. The breakfast is a buffet sort with a lot of choice.

Very friendly and attentive reception, thanks to Mario. I walked into this place on October 15, 2016. They also offer dinner and breakfast (I think breakfast is included in the stay and is being served from 8:00 - 9:30). Very nice and quiet (thankfully there are no TV's). Fresh air from the mountains and a beautiful serenity far away from the main road. Thermal hot water needs to run a little bit before you can take a shower, but water is very nice and soft. Iceland is a great place.
