Only three items on the menu but the soup and rye bread was delicious.
Nice rooms, great owners, good views, easily accessed!
Nice studio room with living and kitchen with full cutleries.
The room was modern and clean. The hosts were friendly and attentive, the breakfast delicious.
Although the guesthouse is situated quite away from town, it is still an excellent respite and we recharged our energy in this picturesque location. Would happily recommend.
Room was clean and adequate. Restaurant has little business so has a very limited selection. Innkeeper and staff were all very friendly. Difficult to cool the room down though outside temps were in the low 50s (F).
Welcoming and helpful staff, clean and well stocked kitchen, short drive from Glymur, fun hot tub and leisure space for socializing, warm and comfortable beds. Overall a great experience! I would definitely stay again.
We stopped by here for lunch while we were passing by. It's a wonderfully authentic bit of iceland. Most of the staff didn't speak english. We had very tasty meat soups and were charmed.

Good for a cup of coffee. It was on the norther lights tour this place was very bright. not an idea spot to stop for the lights.
Just happened on to this place after arriving in Iceland and heading towards the Westfjords. The owners are very friendly, had a great fresh fish dinner, nice hot tub and sauna. A buddy and I stayed in the guesthouse that had bunk beds. We were the only ones in the guesthouse part of the place the one night we stayed. Great grounds to walk around, right next to a river. If I found myself back in the area I would for sure stay here again.
Nice and quiet place
The one place in Iceland where not knowing the language was a problem during our 11 day vacation. They could not accept any of our credit cards which worked everywhere else we went, and the room we were set up in had Wi-Fi only if you walked outside and went into the restaurant. Refused to stay the night and drove back (exhausted) to Reykjavik instead.
