We had icelandic cod, 4 course meal with smoked haddock, lamb fillet, and chocolate mousse. Very delicious and layed back if youre not in a hurry.

We had a spectacular experience and the best Einstök on draft. What we expected and what we got were two different things. This was the finest dining experience we had while in Iceland and all we ordered was a fish and chips special and a draft beer. I absolutely recommend this place and will return next time I'm in Iceland to have the full dinner experience here.

I was in a hurry in my last day in Reykjavik.
There was only 1 hour before my pickup of the flybus to the Airport,
and I decided to go for a lunch in this restaurant which was recommended by a local tourist guide.
The waitresses were very efficient, and managed to bring me all the 3 course dishes of the lunch fixed menu within of half an hour.
The food was good, especially the shoulder of the lamb, and for Reykjavik the price was reasonable around 30$ for a lunch, so it was a good expreince before leaving Iceland on a full stomache.
Maybe the portions were slightly small than what I expected, but it was fine.
The place itself is a little bit touristy, since it is near to the tourist information center, and in a main street.

Dinner for two, we had dinner which was great and the service was very good.
Try the Icelandic platter for starters.
I had the Icelandic fish stew and my daughter had the salted cod both were excellent. I can highly recommend this place.

Pretty good food in a really cute setting that allows you to enjoy People watching in a busier part of Reykjavik. Like most things in Iceland, it's pricey - and like most places in Iceland, the service is great. Some decent Icelandic options available as well (highly recommend tourists to try local fare and traditional food - it's very good).

Definitely a nice place, but I have some things to say about it. First of all, the meal was served after 2 minutes since we ordered and in fact it was cold. Second, if the meal was served in 2 minutes, why we had to wait 20 minutes for the coffee? It doesn't make sense and also it was really bad. Moreover, the price compared to the service and quality wasn't worth it.

€36 for a three-course meal. Right in the city centre, it has a pleasant ambience. We had slow cooked lamb shoulder (see picture) as the main dish and Skyr for dessert. The Skyr was great!

Fantastic meal and fantastic service! The lamb stew, fish stew and artic char were off-the-charts excellent, only surpassed by our waiter who took great care of us but politely and discreetly. This restaurant has an interesting history and old photographs in the dining area to illustrate. I also think you get more value for your money here, including the wine prices.

This place is definitely on my short list, I highly recommend you put it on yours.

We called in after seeing the lunchtime special on the board outside & were not disappointed. Good portion sizes & value for money scrambled egg & salmon starter, cod & chips main & hot chocolate pudding for myself, soup of the day, lamb main & creme brullé for my girlfriend. All lovely courses can't fault it left full & surprisingly good price for Iceland

You can try the famous hakarl (fermented shark) here.
Good value for lunch. I had the vegan nuts steak with sweet potato sauce.

Welcoming, polite and friendly staff in a restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Good wine list and plenty of choice on the menu, including Icelandic specialties - the salt cod was wonderful! Great service, an all round lovely experience 5/5.

Wonderful atmosphere, good friendly service, perfect location to stop in on the way out of the shopping district. The fish soup I had was very delicious, full of flavour, the pieces of fish and scallops were perfectly cooked and very tender and flavourful. The soup was unfortunately on the salty side. The food the other guests were having also looked good and was described favourably. Unfortunately very pricy for what you're getting just like the rest of the food in Reykjavik.
