Excellent meals, great service staff, and a view of the glacier. What more could one ask? We were well fed and service was perfect. When we came back from out visit to the west we were amazed at the crowd as it is far from towns and population centers. It's reputation is well deserved.
Decent burger. Beware the cost of the buffet.
Nice service .
Good food.
A nice little bistro. Much cheaper than the restaurant in the hotel, serves burgers, fish of the day, and pizzas. It also has a buffet, which I didn't try but it looked a little limited. One of the cheaper places that I've seen in Iceland with decent service and decent food. Would recommend.
We had the buffet - pretty small, just soup, salad, bread, and pizza, but the soup and all the salads were great! Very vegetarian friendly and they kept bringing new kinds of pizza out. About 2700 per person, so definitely expensive, but this is Iceland.
The process confused us a bit - if you want the buffet, just grab a plate and pick a table, then pay at the register when you're done.
Just had the soup buffet.. loved both, non-veg and veg, soups.
The non-veg soup was a lamb soup.
They are hosting several tours each day and the buffet table gets really crowded, and it is more like vegeterian food. It is clean and nice.
Great buffet choice, I'd come back here.
Very friendly staff and nice facilities. Vegetarian friendly.
Expensive but not bad. No options for vegans.
Very delicious buffé. The salads and the soups were super. The staff was very kind.
Expensive but a good burger. Does not sell the children menu to adults to force them into the bigger plates. The place is clean and seems pretty new.
