Perfect place for a night stay when traveling around the south of Iceland. It might be hard to find as it is off road, but once you get there it's very calm and nice

The rooms are clean and there is a large dinning area with a number of kitchens available and the wifi worked well downstairs and even upstairs in the room. It was pretty easy to find with signs off the road. The owner was very friendly. Would def recommend for travelers.

We spent 2 nights here. The room was fine and clean. Only disadvantage was the carpet in the room what doesn't seem very hygienic.

The hostel is quite big and can host up to 60 guest. There are a lot of bathrooms though and the kitchen area is generously big.

The price is not very cheap but okay compared to other places around this area.

The house is located a bit of road. Google maps does not know how to navigate there. Use Maps.ME or other services instead. Also the location is well indicated on the main road if you pay a bit attention.

This guesthouse is in a nice area with nice views and a lot of birds around.
However the price is too expensive. I paid 145EUR for a double room. You receive a bunk bed with one of the beds 1,20m wide. Mattress was very old and uncomfortable. Kitchen area is ok but looks like a camp. I had the feeling owner doesn't care about their guests.

It's pretty much a youth hostel with a lot of rooms, either 2 or 4 beds. Shared bathroom/showers.
There are three kitchens that has every utensil that you might need to cook plus some salt and there are two fridges to store all your fresh stuff.
When we were there, there were only a few groups that mostly stayed one to two nights. So there was no issue with the availibility of kitchen space.
If you go there during high season however, that might be a different story..
The whole house gets cleaned every day after 10 o'clock, so it is very clean!
The owner was very friendly and we had no complaints whatsoever.

The hostel is located 2km off the main road, connected with a gravel road where careful driving is advised due to some larger stones scratching the bottom of (our) car. But go slow, and it's absolutely no problem even with the smallest city car.

The house is surrounded by fields, so when it's nice weather (which is rare in iceland) the view is great!

Great place. Out away from the hub bub of people with great scenery and close to many of the activities the south has to offer. The facilities were clean and modern and checkin/out was easy breezy!

We were fortunate enough to meet Filipus who let us meet some of the sheep they had on their farm (adorable and SO friendly! ) and he chatted with bus about growing up in Iceland and some of the culture and language.

Nice cozy place to stay with family and friends. Good place to see aurora at night, the place has very few lights surrounding so if weather helps you dont have to go far to see one. The downside is the walls are thin so at times you can hear the other side of the room.

Neat, cute, great location for visiting Skaftafell and the nearby area. The hostess is so kind. And the kitchen is well stocked with equipment!

Beautiful scenery. Kitchen's a little bit small and so are some of the 4-people rooms. Could improve by adding another fridge and put bins for organics in each kitchen rather than in the dining area. There no WiFi available.
