Small and pretty hotel, near Skogar falls. The room was comfortable and warm, big bed, lots of pillow and nice furnitures.
The panoramic windows can help you to see northen lights.
Shower was big enough for two people and water temperature regulation was fine.
The only thing I would improve is the thikness of the walls, you can clearly hear people from the other room.

Very nice hotel, nice scenery and nice staff. The negatives are that the toilet door has punch hole in it, and the bed was too soft for my liking.

Nice hotel. Restaurant did a very good job with prep and presentation. We had the fish if the day and lamb. Both had very large portions. More than we could eat.

We enjoyed our stay at Skogar Hotel. We will note that the room was fairly small, as was the bathroom. The hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated. The dining room was also fairly small. The blackout shades worked well.
Breakfast was included in the price and was very good with a selection of traditional Icelandic fare.
We had dinner at the hotel. It was very good. The salmon was a bit overcooked, but very flavorful. The vegetables were very good. The seafood pasta was great, and had a nice selection of shrimp (of all sizes), scallops, and mussels.
If we are in the area again, we would considering stopping here.

Kids, local speaking here, the hotel is nice but the restaurant is to die for! I honestly think we just had the best dinner we ever, ever had. The artic char was perfect and the lobster and the dessert were just out of this world! Enjoy this little gem.

The rooms were not very clean. The eggs at breakfast were cold. And the bathrooms are small and dingy.

Small quite hotel next to a scenic wonder. Tons of campers in the lot nearby.

Beds are comfortable. Room is clean. A towel per person. Not a lot of extra but it works and is enhanced by location.

Since traveling with family of 6 had to get two rooms. They were not connecting.

Set with Skógafoss (waterfall) as the backdrop, this small hotel was a great stop on our traveling of Ring Road, Rt. 1. They offered a complimentary breakfast with our stay, which we couldn't make, so they packed us lunch boxes with food for our travels - so very excellent of them. There's also an outdoor hot tub.
