The food was surprisingly great there. Ordered the local burger and was definitely impressed, especially given the quality of some of the food in other areas of Iceland. The views while eating lunch we're great too. Service was friendly and wuick. Would highly recommend eating here.

Quickly stopped in for a bite to eat here while visiting the waterfall. The prices certainly reflect the unique location but the "Skogafoss burger" was worth every penny.

Fantastic burgers! Must be one of if not THE best burger I have ever eaten. Good service, but a bit noisy when we were there because of construction.

The restaurant is okay, service is not so good. We had the rib steak and the taste is good. There is not much around so I recommend you to eat here if you are hungry especially after a hike on the upstream river behind the waterfall.

A chance stop because of bad weather causing a delay. Restaurant is right next the parking lot for the Skogafoss waterfall. Bright and open with lots of Windows overlooking the meadows and mountain. Very tasty food with reasonable prices for Iceland. Order at the counter and food will be brought to table. Try the Skyr cake and lamb soup with Icelandic rye bread - both to die for. Basic Burger, sandwich and some more fancy dishes. No wifi but who cares with these views. Good place for a stop on a road trip. Kids should be happy with burger, fries, chicken sandwich and pasta.

Prime location just next to the waterfall. Nice staff. Restaurant is good with very reasonable prices for Iceland standard. Breakfast was basic.
My only complaint during my stay was the room was very warm I had to sleep with the window open.

Decent accommodation. Fantastically convenient to Skogafoss, less than 100 yards from our hotel door. Great restaurant in hotel. We had Arctic char and it was a delicious way to end the day. Hiking above the falls was quite a treat. Wouldn't miss it. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

We spent two evenings here for meals and drinks. Hotel Skogafoss Bistro Bar offers a relaxed dining room atmosphere. The staff here are very welcoming and the food arrives quite quickly. Sit, order a meal, and enjoy a brew as you chat with friends and enjoy the view of the Skogafoss waterfall in the distance.

Visited the restaurant; Great, efficient and service minded staff. Good food and nice view to the waterfall. The kitchen is open untill 22:00 and the bar till 23:00.

Amazing location, room are big and looking new. Nice bathroom. Perfect view of the waterfall. Wish I could wake up with that view every day. Good choice for breakfast with sweet and savoury choices, tea, coffee. Also had a chance to try the restaurant and both burger and salmon was amazing.

This hotel is literally right next to the the waterfalls. They have a restaurant inside but does not stay open late. They do offer free breakfast though.

Stayed here one night. Clean basic rooms. Breakfast included which was okay. No hair dryer in bathroom (not a big deal for most people though). We had a waterfall view room but you are pretty far away from the waterfall that personally I could have gone without. Overall a good place to stay for a night

Only used the restaurant, whilst waiting for the skies to darken for the northern lights. The food was good, coffee too, and the staff friendly. They let me charge up camera batteries that had taken a hit in the cold. We spent a few hours there split over coffee then food.
