We stayed here the day they were opening the new apartments. They were really fruendly despite the stress. The view was excellent and very close to some amazing coastal walks, exlava fields, craters.

We stayed in the cottages and were happy. Chic Scandanavian design. Great black out curtains and very quiet. Multiple restaurants and a good truck on the property.

If you venture out to the Snaefellsness peninsula, there are some very cute little modern cabins at this place and we enjoyed our stay, the prices were reasonable and there is a great fish and chips food stand right out front. Also, this is a good location from which to explore the peninsula in the national Park.

Brand new and very cool cottages. Perfect for a base camp while out and about, but not enough hot water for two separate showers. If you want a long hot shower, take one with your significant other. ;-)

This review is for the camp only. Camp was the most expensive one during my visit 2500 ISK (June 2017) without electricity plug. If you want electricity you have to shell 1000 ISK more! Also electricity plugs are located only outside the toilet. Toilet itself is small with questionable hygiene. 2 stars review only because the view from the camp is amazing.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Be careful during the summer - the sun does not set and it is easy to lose track of time when the restaurant closes you will have extreme difficulty finding something to eat for the night! Make sure to take the brief hike to the Arnarstapi sea cliffs. STAY ON THE PATHS!!! The birds will start attacking you if you venture too far from the path, and of course avoid damaging the moss near the shore!

We have a diner here. Extremely expensive as elsewhere in Iceland. Forget about good service but people are very friendly. Do not take toasts and fried potatoes here - pay a bit more and enjoy local food (soups are splendid)!

I visited the restaurant/café. I wanted to have a cup of coffee after having a dry and flavorless burger, but unfortunately I was invited to leave the table and sit outside, because I was not in a group. Quite a unique and frustrating experience.

Not a guesthouse. More like a camp or permanent tent. 8 rooms with 2-4 beds in each room, only 2 bathrooms. Not worth a night. Stay at other place near by is recommended.
