Hotel Holt is warm and welcoming. Small but well appointed rooms with original artwork throughout the hotel, including in every room. It's a unique and wonderful place to stay in Reykjavik. I stay here every time I go to Iceland.

The hotel is kind of outdated, but absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff were great and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. My only complaint was that the breakfast didn't have a ton of variety but at least the food they had tasted good.

Cozy hotel, near the center of reykjavik. Everything you would expect from a hotel. Clean tidy and the breakfast was nice as well

I only stayed at the Holt for one night at the end of a 10 day guided photography trip, and it was very nice. The bathroom was really nice. The curtain was a tad short and didn’t completely cover the room windows but otherwise the room was fine.

My regular hotel during stays to Reykjavik. Rooms good, staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant has great food and certainly on my last visit, a chef who actively sought customer feedback to improve/implement new dishes (not that it needed it). Don't be put off by the sulphur smelling showers! That's a benefit of Iceland. Hot water courtesy of Mother Nature!

Very nice rooms. A bit small by North American standards but for Iceland they are top notch. Views of the ocean from the upper floors. The art is fantastic and the staff are extremely helpful. Real old world charm. Breakfasts are the best I have had in Iceland do far. Great selection of fine congacs and whiskeys at the bar. Not the cheapest but overall I could not be happier with this hotel.

Clean and very friendly, great breakfast, good location and the staff are amazing! Literally 5 minutes from the town centre but quiet enough location. Would definitely stay here again

A high quality traditional hotel with a great art collection of icelandic art and a top class resturaunt with good wine list.
Very helpfull staff. Good rooms. Quiet location just on the edge of city centre but not in it. We will use the Holt again.
