The hotel is a renovated old Templars building so it has a bit of a rugged look to it. Most of the time you wont notice it but when you do it might affect your experience. For example our bath looked amazing but when I stepped inside, it started to squint and there was also a small crack inside. The room felt clean but when I noticed a big ball of hair, it pretty much ruined the cleanliness feeling. The dining room is very small but thats fine. There are many places to eat around. The staff were nice but the receptionist wasn’t. All and all its a fine hotel with an old school vibe. Don’t be surprised if some details might disappoint you..
I booked a room for one night for me and my girlfriend.
Amazing hotel, very comfortable and clean.
The front desk was amazing and really helpful when we arrive at the hotel they Tell us they upgraded our room from ground floor to third floor and the view was so beautiful
And it's very close to the Baha'i gardens (amazing!! And beautiful place that you must! Visit if you like gardens and temples)
If I will visit Haifa again I will come back to this hotel.
Very good Hotel Clean with Bar and nice Service
Me and my family booked three rooms for the weekend. The staying is very expensive, but the value is low. While the hotel looks very nice, under the cover there are many flaws. In our case:
- The bathtub had drainage problem
- My sister and brother in law's room (on the 3rd room) was located under the machines room (located on the roof above them) and, therefore, they didn't shut an eye the whole night.
- The automated door lock didn't work. We had to request for the key (instead of the convenient magnetic card).
- The electricity in the room didn't work. This is due to a problem in the power-saving system installed in the room.
- The electric kettle was broken.
I note that while we informed the hotel about the above flaws, we didn't get any words of apology about the inconvenience.
My sincere suggestion, look for another place to stay.
Excellent Hotel. Lovely atmosphere. Very speedy check in. Extensive breakfast buffet which changes daily. Greta location. Would recommend this Hotel with no hesitation. Good value for money.
Old nice building, very old forniture, maintenance can be better. Noisy in Sabbath evening. Main street beautiful view.
Clean, comfortable, quiet and serves great breakfast
Staff's welcoming smiling faces , Cleanliness, excellent location
great - best location! (little noisy though)
On the expensive side for room size, but rooms are clean and they have a good breakfast.
Noisy street. Sad breakfast. Nice jacuzzi if you get one but old hotel.
It is a very beautiful hotel with its own style. Every detail of this place says about prestige and quality. I like to observe it and to make pictures, it gives me some good, some positive feelings.
Very nice hotel good location nice facility small elevator seems to be common problem for all Israel hotel
God is in the details, and here they don't notice. Nice service and beautiful location. But that's about it. Some of the breakfast tastes and looks "recycled".
This is a cute hotel. The rooms are very small and in need of a bit of repair, but at least the location is convenient. There are several restaurants nearby and the bus stop to take you to the top of the Baha'i Gardens is only a few steps away. The breakfast is a little below average, but edible. We found it odd that you have to pay for the entire stay when you check in. Maybe this is standard is Haifa, but we wondered if it was because people tend to check out early. We heard that some people found the hotel to be quite loud and did check out early, but we thought it was actually very quiet and even slept with the windows open.
