Great hotel, very homy inviting and cosy.the design amazingggg
Small boutique hotel (the building is wonderful), pretty close to German Colony (around 1 km; there is also a big supermarket just around the corner in a kind of shopping center).
Efficient staff. Nicely decorated room (in general, probably it is lacking just a little maintenance, also in the external areas). Fitness room (as it is not bigger than a room!). No swimming pool.
Free Happy Hour in the afternoon is a 5***** detail. Free parking on the street behind the hotel.
Haifa is not the most interesting of the city but if you are going to spend a night there, I will highly suggest to stay at this hotel.
Excellent jast fine. Clean. Great servis.
Top service in a nice hotel. Located a little bit high so you get the amazing view but still in a walking distance from the down town and the port area. Rooms have everything and you'll get the feeling you get take care of.
The hotel has a great staff and great service, rooms are fresh and very clean. Hotel also have happy hour with free wine, snacks and even a free message in the evening of friday . Not such a good location but there is a playground for kids across the road which was great for us. Breakfast was good and with many options.
Great little boutique hotel. Rooms are spacious, the food is great and the staff is smiley and professional.
Good location, splendid view from the top level rooms, lovely interior design, front desk staff was friendly. We took one week accommodation and the price was fair. The room was small and the bathroom was even smaller; there is no minibar in the room but there are coffee and tea machines and the hotel daily offered two small bottles of water. The hotel does not have a bar. The carpet in our room became dirty and it was never cleaned during our stay; the sheets on the bed were never changed; the shower support was falling down from the wall and the shower door was not properly sealed so water came out from the shower into the bathroom; the balcony door was not closing properly and it's door handle was falling down; just across the street there's a little shop playing loud music up to 3 AM.
I really appreciated the happy hour in the colonial style lobby downstairs
We selected Bay Club hotel as it was top rated in Haifa by Trip Advisor. We made a reservation 2 months in advance for 4 nights directly at the hotel website and requested a quiet room on a higher floor. When we arrived to the hotel at 9:00pm we were assigned room 106. The room was totally opposite to the reservation request: 1st floor and noisy. The windows overlooking the street were not latching well letting all the noise in. When we pointed to our reservation request we were told that this room was an upgrade since it is a duplex. They also said that no other rooms were available although we saw people checking in after us. It seems that the hotel has preferential clientele from Teknion University.
The $209 room had nothing to do with the nice pictures at the hotel website. Half of the space is taken by the staircase and thus useless, the tiny bathroom on 1st floor has a sink with no place to put toiletries, while the 2nd floor hardly has space for a bed and a place for two small suitcases in front of it. The staircase is narrow with black steps totally invisible and dangerous at night. The hotel has no dedicated parking and no restaurant for dinner so one has to drive to Germantown, look for parking there and look for parking again near the hotel. They also play games with currencies by quoting prices in US $, but charging in Israeli shekels at their own conversion rate, which then get converted to US $ by the credit card usually ending up being more expensive. The whole experience was distasteful.
We checked out the next day and stayed at Golden Crown hotel. It is a modern full service hotel with a great location near the port, easy access to major roads and a short walk to Germantown with many restaurants. It has its own gated parking, comfortable rooms, is 25% cheaper than Bay Club hotel and charges directly in US $ as quoted.
Beautiful rooms and quiet. Good breakfast.
Beautifully decorated; haphazardly maintained.
Surprising very good boutique hotel. Nice rooms, clean and up to date. Good breakfast. High standard. Good location in Haifa
A nice hotel with pleasant staff and atmosphere. Well located, nice rooms and good service
It's nice hotel. One thing I would like to mention is the TV has no nice NEWS channel in English.
