Was at the Westwood to meet someone. The bar and restaurant were closed (early in the morning), someone took the time to brew some coffee especially for me. It was free of charge because the cash register were not open yet. All of that with a great smile and knowing that I was not staying at the hotel. It's those small kind gestures that make all the difference. Will recommend this hotel to friends coming in Galway.

Nice place for lunch, a lot of people from the business campus near it eat here. Carvery menu and a sandwich menu available.

The hotel was very nice. Only the breakfast was somewhat disappointing. It seemed the personnel was more interested in having a breakfast themselves.. We had to partially wait quite awhile before we were served.

I tripped over this on the way to meet a Ukulele group (not relevant I know!) I was a bit hungry so looked up nearest bars with Google. I was expecting a boring rectangular drinking establishment but instead found it was a really high end bar/hotel. Very classy - people were generally dressed informally. I had a nice beer, and a very quickly served fish and chips. It was good but not brilliant and clearly not cheap but for a bar menu was better than normal and the beer was great. The service was very friendly and staff at reception and at the bar were all very welcoming.

Decent food and reasonably priced. Staff are always friendly as well. Never seen any of them grumpy.
