lovely hotel central to everything. very good value for money. great deals for over 50s
will definitely come back for a return visit.ok
Nice hotel. Old style but big airy and has character. Lovely big reception. Staff excellent and so friendly. Lovely big pool sauna steam and outdoor heated Jacuzzi. Breakfast and evening meals both very good. Good parking. Bus to Eyre square 2.30euro from in front of hotel every 20mins. Only takes about 10 mins. Only downside was shower in bath and old style shower head but room was big and very nice .
Comfortable & clean. Staff very friendly & helpful. Value for money
Lovely hotel. Fantastic food and a very extensive cocktail menu. The spa is absolutely fantastic!
Nice hotel with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We arrived about 10pm and were concerned we wouldn't be able to check in but it was still open. Typical Irish hotel breakfast available but was still very tasty and not stale. Rooms are very clean and tidy but a little dated
Great reception staff. No plug sockets near the bed at all. Needs updating from a tech point of view
Very nice hotel. Very clean. Staff so nice and helpful. Would stay here again
Lovely hotel. Helpful staff. Nice food in the bar
Hotel was nice and friendly. Staff were very helpful.
Room we stayed in was a bit run down however.
Horrible service from hotel staff, had to ring 4 times on my personal phone as the hotel reception wouldn't answer in order to get a working hair dryer, which didn't work when it was delivered.
Food order was wrong when it was delivered to our table. Hotel pub experience was terrible as there was a very aggressive hen party.
When we left the hotel for Galway that night for a drink we were put out the side door as there were gardaà and a stag party having some sort of altercation, felt very afraid at the time.
And to top it off screaming children were allowed to run up and down the halls knocking on doors at 0830 in the morning.
Never stay here again.
Location of the place is just outside city centre which makes it ideal for a quick cab to the city and out again so that you don't have to sleep worried about noise from the streets. The problem however is that the hotel seems to be very popular with young party goers who're up all night making a lot of noise and thus killing the whole purpose of taking up a hotel outside city centre. Rooms are ok and need a bit of doing up as they feel dated. Bathroom can definitely do with a bit of improvement. Restaurant is not the best and is on the expensive side. There is ample parking space and a pool in case you want to enjoy lazing around in a pool.
Staff. excellent service very friendly and helpful couldn't be more helpful will definitely be back
Stayed with family of two adults and two small kids mid February. Great stay pool and breakfast were enjoyable and tasty. I would go back. It is on outskirts of city for anyone who wants to be close to centre.
This has a seperate hotel & n.r.g. health club - v. friendly & welcoming staff reasonably priced memberships & gr8 supports
