Went for afternoon tea at a castle with a visitor from the states. It was OK,but not quite special for afternoon tea. And it's not at the castle, but across the street. Nice views, food was OK. Portion of chips tiny. Service staff extremely accommodating. Just didn't have the wow factor we were looking for to impress a guest.

Has rooms with views of Trim Castle and is just across the street from Stockhouse Restaurant, which had a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food (and a very friendly owner). The hotel was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The best Carvery brunch in the County! I am a chef, eat mostly organic and buy almost all my food from local farmers markets. I have travelled the world and have a fine palate for Fine Foods, the Carvery brunch at this hotel is exceptional! if it had 6 stars I would rate it higher! Treat yourself to the best you won't be disappointed.

Stayed for wedding, staff were incredibly helpful. Room key wouldn't work, twice, so they moved us to another room, no problems. Would recommend.

Our large extended family had the most fantastic week-end at trim Castle Hotel at my sister's wedding. Everybody, including staff preparing the room earlier took pride in every little detail. The meals were fantastic and the members of the Trim castle team added warmth and good humour to a great day in a proficient professional manner all day and into the night. The sun terrace is great for a coffee and a break away space at night or morning coffee. Trim Castle Hotel is a great memory for those who travelled for the week-end from afar and made us proud to be Irish.
    We will definitely return.

Stopped off for a drink whilst out for a walk. We were able to chill on their big comfy sofas. We used the baby change room, could do with the changing table raised up a little higher. I'm short but I was even bent down using it. Baby change and toilets were very clean! Foyer was also warm and cosy. Would visit again!

We ate in the Bailey Bar here, excellent value menu - 3 courses for €20. Bargain! I'm not a huge fan of sweet sauces on chicken wings (they were sweet and spicy) but they were tasty all the same. The fish and chips were delicious although I would prefer a sharper tartare sauce. The banoffee dessert was really nice too
