Nice older type of hotel. Didn't stay the night but used the facilities for a conference. Staff were polite and helpful. Food was great. Loved the fact that it is an old hotel as it oozes character and very good value for money. Has it's own car park but given the age and location of the building the spaces are narrow. However I really liked this hotel. Oh and by the way the coffee is really good.

Newgrange Hotel in Navan is ideally situated in Navan town. Although I have not stayed overnight at this hotel its somewhere I would like to do so in the future. Its a beautiful place both inside and Out with onsite parking, and their food is absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced. It is also a child friendly which is an absolute must.

Stayed in this hotel with my daughter for one night. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, as was the staff at breakfast. Couldn't do enough for you. However, when we arrived the room was very shabby and not very clean and broken coffee table. Beds.not sure if madefelt as if someone just pulled covers up.Rang reception and asked to move to another room. The staff were excellent, very apologetic and moved us to another much bigger clean room. Breakfast was fine and our experience was good. The hotel is very tired and needs a complete overhaul.The staff in the hotel make up for the down falls in the hotel, which management should acknowledge.Thank you

Had my wedding yesterday and it was like a fairy tale..the manager Louise was a first class lady..met her only once and everything was just the way we planned and nothing was a problem..she is nice with great customer skills..The chef and the menu was top class..all the guests enjoyed the food and staffs on the floor were brilliant and Louise floor staff amazing..
There was no little details missed by Louise the manager..highly recommend her. X

Very nice room, comfortable bed, and clean. Pub/restaurant attached. Was disappointed that there was no coffee in the room, and the room was warm. Opening the window provided cool air, but also much street noise. Location isn't one I would stay at again as there isn't much around it to do or places to shop within walking distance, and it's an older/less well-kept area than others.

The common areas of the Newgrange are aesthetically lovely but that is the highlight of this place.
THE STAFF- Every member of the staff I encountered were very professional and welcoming. check in was simple and easy. No complaints there.
THE SMELL- the whole hotel smells of that sour smell that hotels have when they allow smoking. Our room smelled so bad I had to put essential oil under my nose to sleep.
THE NOISE- Our room (209)was situated in such a way that the door to the next room (210) was right next to it. Normally this isn't an issue but the people in that room would congregate outside of the two doors and talk loudly. When they weren't doing that they were going in and out every 45 seconds or so, each time slamming the door. I realize this wasn't the hotels fault and I did call down to the desk and they said they sent someone up to tell them to be quiet but nothing changed. We had to run two sound machine apps to drown out that as well as the noise from the bar below.
THE ROOM- Our room had a single bed but then there was all of this oddly placed furniture around the room. We had to move some of it to get to the luggage rack. The bathroom also used the space oddly, and as the counter space and water pressure was good, it just seemed dirty in there. There was minimal toiletries provided.
THE FOOD- The food was ok, not great, not bad. I had the fried Cod and Cesar salad.

FINAL THOUGHTS- The smell alone would keep me from coming back to this place in the future.

Afternoon tea was simply delicious and there was plenty of it. Staff are very friendly though can be tough to find for bill etc.

Great place for a business meeting in Navan. Good food and several function rooms. Great bar and night club. Top service from Caroline and all the staff.
