Lovely staff friendly pleace will defo stay here again

Booked a room for 3 nights, money taken from account but no booking confirmation. Called hotel, spoke to the GM who assured us it will be sorted out. Drove to hotel, receptionist demanded another payment for 3 nights, asked to speak to the GM (a certain Connor ) receptionist went in to speak with him. Overheard him saying if they don't pay , tell them they can't stay. He refused to come speak with me (so much for customer service) said he'd be out in 30 minutes, decided to go to the bank to recall money before payment AGAIN. Got back after being gone for about 30 minutes, asked to speak to him , same reply, 30 MINUTES. Couldn't wait so paid, asked for room on upper floor, he declined, saying he had allocated it for the NEXT day, as I was staying 3 nights, he would rather give room to a larger group of students than a returning customer (my 4th stay). Given a dirty, smelly room #10 close to the reception despite asking for a quiet room (unfortunately other hotels were booked out) . The GM's behaviour and attitude bordered on arrogance and condescending. Very dismissive, whilst Anna the FO employee was very empathetic and helpful, she should be the GM. NEVER AGAIN. Not going back. Just lost a customer. Worst experience ever. Pictures of dirty room will be posted on their website.

Best value for the money. Very pleasant staff and an amazing diner next door. The only issue is that sheets are not changed regularly unless asked for. Had a great stay, will definitely recommend.

We stayed here for two nights. The Travelodge was easy enough to find. Within walking distance of the city. The staff were nice. The room was a good size and very clean. The price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend the place.

Basic, adequate, just what I expected. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. I was only staying one night so I didn't want anything more. Just as well, as the hotel has nothing by way of facilities. No bar, dining room or meeting rooms. Two fast food outlets are right beside the hotel so if you just want to load up on the calories, you won't starve. It's no-frills accommodation In a reasonable location.

As standard a hotel as you can imagine. The halls smell horribly, but if you can hold your breath, then the rooms are perfectly fine.

Basic hotel but inexpensive. Parking can be a problem when busy. Close to McDonald restaurant. Some rooms are in need of repair especially the disabled rooms shower. The hotel is clean

Good budget option if traveling with a car. The facility and service good. There is nothing interesting around here. If looking for ambience, choose a hotel in the center of Waterford.
