My wife and I spent a week at the Woodlands hotel for our 3rd wedding anniversary we were treated with the utmost respect.the staff and management were so polite and welcoming.we were treated withe a bottle of champagne and a comfortable room.the food was excellent and the service was excellent.I would recommend anyone visiting waterford to book into the Woodlands hotel they won't regret it.my wife and I intend to stay at the Woodlands hotel in the near future. A big thank you for the staff and management for making our stay a warm and friendly one.

Staff were 5 star special mention to the bar manager Mick who took great care of our group he is a real asset to the hotel. Great experience here on a very hectic Thursday to Sunday morning stay. I was out most of the day so didn't eat here but did enjoy a relaxing pint in the evening. The rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. one star taken off because the Wi-Fi was a bit useless at times

Pool and leisure centre is nice but room in hotel not clean.loads of wear and tear can be seen all over.wont be back.

Beautiful 3*hotel with spa & leisure centre not far from Waterford city and fishing villages of Passage East & Checkpoint. 47 rooms to cater for everyone even family rooms can take up to 2 adults and 3 childrens. Ideal place for for weddings or relaxing weekend. Guest can avail free of charge of state of the art leisure facilities

Not to our standards bed v hard to sleep on The free evening dinner was served in the bar food terrible I will never spend any money their again. Tables tops never cleaned .leisure centre v good .

Modern and comfortable hotel with very good size function room. While we didn't stay here (attending a function only) we sampled some of its amenities. First impression was a very friendly receptionist. Second was everything, including lobby and corridors were very well spaced and didn't feel cramped or squashed. Old style bar (The Brass Cock) offered a traditional pub feel. (We found the function room bar prices higher than expected)
There is a very modern health club/leisure centre including a large pool.
Plenty of free parking outside,in a setting outside the main thoroughfare of the city,close to scenic Dunmore East.response / report this review -
