Excellent location,basic rooms but it's fine for an overnight stay before departing Dublin Airport. Excellent staff in the restaurant.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how this has a 3.5 rating.
The room reeked of smoke, making the “no smoking” sign on the door rather ironic. I was never sure the door actually locked, so I put a chair in front of it as the chain looked like it could have been broken by a ten year old.
The kettle had lime and rust stains in it. The bathroom had rust on the floor around the trash can. The bath tub had hair in it and mildew stains. The bottom of the tub didn’t look altogether clean either. All of this made me doubt the cleanliness of the beds, so I slept on top of the covers.
To top it off, I had to pay 5E to park my car in the lot overnight!
If the other hotels in Swords hadn’t been booked, I’d have left.

You have to walk a fair distance from the shuttle to the airport. It's fine unless you have someone with reduced mobility. Hotel was clean and nice.

Clean place with a lovely cozy restaurant
We did not spend much time in the room but it is clean and the beds are comfy. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant on both times we stayed and the food was amazing. The hotel is 10 min walk from the town centre and 5 min away from the bus stop that brings you to the city centre. There's a shuttle bus to the airport. If you drive, you need to pay for parking €5 per night

This was a reasonable room with basic facilities. The reason it got a 2 star rating not a three is because of its pricing policy. The rooms were around 70 euros a night but then the hurricane cancelled all the flights in Dublin airport and the hotel doubled its rates to 150 euros to cash in on the disaster and peoples misery. This is my eyes is unacceptable behaviour and i would have expected better from a chain such as this. Poor show guys, I stay in your hotels a lot but not anymore. This sort of behaviour gets noticed and was being discussed in the queues and huddles at the airport the following day so gives you a really bad reputation.

Rooms were comfortable and just what you'd expect at a hotel near the airport. Wifi worked well in the rooms. Rooms were clean and tidy. I'd stay again.

This Travelodge has a great location, close to the Dublin Airport. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a diner on the premises. A bus runs to and from the airport for a fee of 3 Euros. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this Travelodge, however there were a couple of drawbacks. We had made reservations through a third party travel sight and requested a room for 3 adults. The reservation said we would have a 1 double bed and 1 single bed, that would have been great, but we actually got 1 double bed and a terribly uncomfortable cot. Also there is not fan in the bathroom, so there was mold on the ceiling. The location and friendly staff were great, but those cots should NEVER be used for an adult.

Absolutely awful. The room was filthy, dead insect in bed, limescale all over the kettle and bath. Hot and cold sink nozzles were fitted incorrectly. Makeup on supposedly clean bath towels. No lift for suitcases. Radiator when turned on smelled like it could catch fire any minute. Cheeky customer service. Hair blocked bath drain. Could hear barking all night from another resident who had a dog. Will definitely not be staying here ever again and could not wait to leave as soon as we stepped in.

No frills budget stay close to the airport with an easy walk into Swords for any amenities you might need. Clean and modern. Parking is NOT free for your own car but free, however, for a rental car?! Does have an airport shuttle, that is 3E per person that is not well described on website. Pick up is at Coach Parking #16 at Dublin Airport, it's a purple and yellow bus that is not marked so it will not be obvious.

This place feels more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. Rooms haven't been updated since the 90s. Bed was comfortable otherwise it would've been 1 star. Also, costs 10 euro per day to park here despite been resident in the hotel. Do yourself a favour and put 10 euro per day to your budget and stay somewhere else!

It's a travelodge, I've stayed at a few, and some are actually quiet pleasant! And while this one is fairly close to the airport, it is really run down. The shower in my room was very weak, and there was black (mould?) marks all around the bath. Bed was uncomfortable. Room smelt very strange. Just a bit grim. Very overdue a make over.

Good location. Close to the airport. Comfortable bed and plenty of towels available. Cleanliness of the toilet not the best (found a fair amount of hairs in the bathtub). Staff is helpful

When we got to the room, the heating had been left on and the room was blistering hot. The windows to the room were inoperable for security reasons (we were on the ground floor). I found it very difficult to sleep in these conditions even after a long day of traveling and a good night's sleep is all I truly required from a cheap hotel. Breakfast was pretty good though.
