Incredible location, with very nice staff. However it gets very loud at night and the walls are very thin so soneone simply walking down the hall makes a lot of noise. Also the showers are absolutely miniature

Staff were great. Hotel is right where the action is but this also means it is loud every night and Friday and Saturday it goes late. Walls, windows and doors are paperthin do you hear outside and the hallway. Breakfast was very fresh and quite good, and the coffee was very good too. I would stay again no question just wished I had been warned of the noise.

Nice place. Seems recently renovated, and it was done nicely. The room however was a bit small by American standards. Just enough room to walk around the bed--very little room for luggage or other items. The hotel is situated in the Temple Bar district, which can be a bit noisy until about midnight, especially when in the summer when you will need a window open (no AC). Also, there is some merchant nearby that has an alarm which went off for a lengthy period of time at least two of the nights we stayed.
However, you are right in the middle of a very popular spot in Dublin, and many tourist sites are within walking distance. I would recommend this place, just don't expect a totally quiet, relaxing environment.response / report this review -

Location of the hotel was great however the hotel itself was rather a let down. First room I was put in had the buildings air con unit next to the window and was incredibly noisy. After a room change the room was very quiet and slept well. Room itself was small and dated with minimal facilities. All that said, I slept well and the location was as central as possible. Next time I would fork out more money for a better room or a different hotel.

Great location at a great price. Trendy and fun yet comfortable and peaceful experience. We were set way in the back of hotel no problem at all with noise and we were able to keep our window open. Just be prepared if you have a lot of luggage that there is a lift (elevator) but then a series of stairs and doors to get to your room. Was a good workout but may be prepared for that if you are on a longer holiday and brought a lot of luggage!

A warm and friendly welcome to this hotel with very pleasant rooms. Excellent location for the local attractions and of course the Temple Bar experience. My only complaint would be the room 'door banging' other patrons during the night. A well rested sleep did not happen. The supplied ear plugs would have done little to stop the heavy room doors banging shut from entering your ears.

This hotel is an adventure unto itself. Quaint, cool, decorative, just smooth.
Comfortable, clean, room bathroom was cool too.
This place was recently COMPLETELY re-painted, re-carpeted and redone. The owners spent 'HELUVA' lot of money on the re-model.
5 star staff.
Bad knees? NOT your place.
Lots of bags? NOT your place.
I enjoyed my stay. Pub staff really need to learn some customer service. Basically it's a local corner bar.response / report this review -

Rooms are quite nice, very warm due to the timed radiator seemingly always on despite the high temeratures during my stay. The radiator being broken and unable to turn off myself didnt help, but seemed to be fixed by the following day

Lovely room and bathroom. Gorgeous bed. They provide you with earplugs which is worrying! It was noisy at night time. And the corridors had an awful smell. I can't even describe what it was. Just not nice. I guess the noise can't be helped because of location so just expect that when you go. But room itself was beautiful.
