Great food and staff. Always a pleasure eating there:)
Lovely quiet old skool Dublin pub. Have all the drinks and friendly bar staff.
A great location. Sometimes the Guinness is perfect, at other times I've not been satisfied with it. Bar staff very professional.
Popped in for a quick lunch. Had a sandwich. Very disappointed. Stale bread from the fridge. Won't go back
Nice pub. We visited the location with a group. At first they wouldn't let us in but in the end we had a good talk end we could enjoy there beers at the bar.
Friendly service and a quick lunch for us. I had the Chicken and Bacon pie while I was there which was quite good. Good beer selection here too.
Wonderful staff. Great food ave good drinks. All of it very well priced.
Bar staff was friendly and food and drinks were served quickly. The stew was really tasty! And on Wednesday at 8:30 there is a fun comedy improv night upstairs, worth catching!
Great pints boozer. Great atmosphere. Also does good lunch time grub.
Nice old time friendly pub in Dublin City . The floor staff are always most helpful. It has a nice fire place in it also. It's a indigenous pub who's presence has been here for many a year
Called in for a quick beer with friends. Great beer..Great atmosphere. Very traditional. Rather busy, just how a pub should be!
Warm welcome and great atmosphere. Food is also good and reasonably priced!
Today my friend and I made the heinous mistake of buying sandwiches in your establishment. I ordered what was described to me as an 'open sandwich' of tuna and cheese. From my experience, when you pay 5+ euro for a sandwich, you expect it to be of a fairly good quality. This was not the case. I am not understating in any way when I say that it was a small cold, dry, untoasted piece of supermarket bread. On this there was some cold tinned tuna (with not even mayonnaise, just tuna) and two easy cheese singles thrown on top. As disappointed as I was with mine, this was nothing compared to the travesty my friend ordered. Opting for the more expensive 'hot' cut gammon sandwich, he was given a dry cold piece of pork between an even drier slice of low quality sliced pan.
Having read some other reviews left on your site, it seems that this is not the first time you have had this compliant. I wonder why you haven't made any effort to increase the standard of the sandwiches served. In reference to your views on price yes, while M&S sandwiches are "selling for over 5 euro" M&S sandwiches are of a much higher quality. In addition to this, striving for better sandwiches than M&S wouldn't be unwise.
Lower your prices or raise your standards.
