The place has gone downhill the last 1-2 years although they seem to be trying to recover they are doing it in the wrong way: Temple Bar prices = very expensive. 6.20€ for a Heineken, quite a rob. The music is too loud, the staff is rude and like in a constant bad mood and the bouncers are aggressive and really unfriendly.

It was a cool place, with great music, cheap pints in Temple bar and cool staff. Only the cool music, and not every night applies, stays there.

Typical pub, probably wouldn't have been there if my hotel wasnt right beside it and i thought they'd have food. They have food only its delivered which means i could have just gone to said restaurant anyway, the music had me a bit nostalgic to my teenage years.

    AMAZING dive bar
We found this place while visiting Ireland and the bartender Slim was more than happy to reccommend pubs in Galway and Cork and even gave us the manger's names in the pubs. The atmosphere was great, band was fantastic. More pubs like this are needed in the world

Great beer, even better people. Live music that can't be beat. I'll probably be back here every single night until I leave because it's just that great.

Brought visiting friends here yesterday while waiting for their flight and it was their favourite bar of the weekend. Great atmosphere; funny viking behind the bar, very mixed but friendly clientele, eclectic playlist and excellent guinness. Great to see people dancing in a bar on a Monday afternoon!

A great spot for free live rock music in Dublin city centre. Attracts a more alternative crowd who come for the music and performances than anything else. The bar staff are extremely quick and relatively friendly. Decor in The Mezz is marmite Some I really like that every single surface is plaster with an old concert poster, a record cover or something to do with rock history, and the bar is full of what customers have offered up over the years, foreign currency etc.
Cleanliness in the bathrooms is an issue and although the bar is set up to be that scuzzy atmosphere it's one area that need massive improvement

One of the best rock pub in Dublin for sure. Live music every night and the drinks are not too expensive. The place itself is very cool.

Best love music venue in Temple Bar. Staff are nuts and customers dance on the bar.
Tip: being a spare bra, you'll understand when you get there

Best underground music scenario in Dublin. You must see it if you come to Dublin. Great music, fair price.

Cool and alternative rock bar. Has live music. A bit expensive though but can't blame it since it is right in Temple Bar. Its one of the pub crawls stops.
