we went with American family who were visiting one Saturday afternoon ,a big crowd of 17 . Had a great time, gorgeous food,very good service,lovely atmosphere . Would definately go back

My wife and I decided to have lunch today at this restaurant and we were very disappointed with the food. The starters were just o.k. but the 2 main courses were awful. My wife's plaice was very small and she was still hungry when we had eaten. I had a sirloin steak which was full of gristle. When the waitress asked us if we had had a good meal .We both replied that we had not and explained why, she laughed at first and said that because our plates were empty we must have enjoyed the food! She said she would speak to the manager. I asked for my bill and when it came it was for the wrong table! We paid the bill and went to leave and as we were getting our coats the manager asked us what the problem was ? Again we explained the issues and were offered a dessert if we were still hungry which we declined.Overall not a good experience. I will not be back.

We had a delicious lunch here and several good French wines by the glass. Service was excellent. Nice list of European wines by the bottle.

Dined in Peploes to celebrate my daughters graduation and what a dining experience it was. Food was fabulous and the menu innovative and exciting with impeccable execution and taste. Wonderful and varied wine selection and the staff professional and extremely helpful which only added to the experience.

Great wine list.
The cheese plate was exactly what we wanted without having a large meal. Cosy yet open atmosphere.

I cannot praise the staff enough. We really enjoyed our evening at Peploe's!
I'll be back.

Suitable for a gathering with your wine and cheese friends or for a romantic date.

Great ambiance. Service is too notch and so is food. Was here with a party of 9 people who all had different menu items and everyone came away delighted with the food. Service is impecable. Chocolate fondant is a must have.

Walked in and we were told we could not be seated without a reservation, this is a Tuesday night and there are plenty of tables. I was able to literally walk outside and book a table for 2 for 30 minutes later using their own websiteso not a great start for a higher end joint.

The olive oil didn't taste fresh (peppery, bitter with a fruity note), which surprised me, and the veggie burger I got was dry (no sauce or aioli), fries came out about 5 minutes later (again with no dipping sauce which I had to request).

Now I understand, this is not a place to get a veggie burger, but given the vegetarian options, it was the most appealing. The reason I only give it 3 stars is that for a higher-end place, it really missed the mark in some key areas for me: service and balance in the dishes. Being right next to a major high-end hotel, they should expect a lot of international travelers, and tailor the service accordingly.

For the prices we paid, the food and service should have been better.
