Stayed for one night on Sunday 29th Oct.Room was very comfortable and clean. Food and service in bar at lunchtime was very good. Breakfast was satisfactory. Not much choice of breads. Very busy probably due to Dublin Marathon that weekend. Was very noisy during the night so didn't get a good night's sleep. Lots of doors being banged and groups chatting in the corridors. Maybe a sign in the lift or along corridor would remind people to be considerate of others. Mistake with bill on checking out. Was being charged for two breakfasts instead of one. Overall it is a very pleasant hotel and a short walk to the city centre. Would recommend it and may return myself in the spring but perhaps on a quieter night.

I enjoyed my stay here, the room was clean and spacious, the staff friendly. A problem with the safe was dealt with promptly. Breakfast was excellent. My only criticism is that I asked both reception and the concierge about the airport buses on the day of the marathon and was told both times that everything would be back to normal after 11 am. In fact this was not the case, the stop outside the hotel was not in use. This was clearly stated on the Aircoach website and I feel the staff should have known.

This is my favourite hotel in Dublin. Great staff, mouth watering food, excellent service and rooms that have everything you need. Reception is so welcoming and staff constantly ask if everything is okay which is a nice touch in such a large hotel. Having stayed here numerous times over the years I look forward again to my next stay. It deserves to go to 5 stars

Went to a ball here last month. I was in this hotel a long time ago, but was very impressed on my recent visit. Clean modern comfortable hotel. The ball room was lovely. The service was amazing and the staff were very friendly, the three course meal was good too. Would highly recommend.

I had a lovely stay in your hotel. Special thanks to Nicola at reception for her really friendly welcome, and also to the male member of staff who greeted us at the breakfast area. Such a lovely guy, so inviting and friendly. Lovely room. Great cocktails in the bar (especially the raspberry daiquiri). We ordered food and my only unhappiness was the horrible milky watery peppered sauce I was given with my steak sandwich. Other than that, we had an amazing stay and look forward to returning again. One issue also was witnessing the way a male member of of staff spoke to his colleagues/subordinates. He was extremely rude and was shouting in front of customers. I felt sorry for the staff around him.

With a ten minute walk to Stephen's Green, the Clayton Burlington Road's location can't be beat. We got a great book-direct deal on the website which made it an easy choice. While it is a large hotel, we never felt like we weren't being looked after. There's every amenity available and the breakfast provided a variety of choice and was of good quality. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and would look to stay there again on our next trip to Dublin.

The hotel is very clean and has nice furniture and amenities. We had contacted the hotel in advance to ensure that our room had air conditioning. Although they had said that it would be no problem, we did not receive a room with AC on the first night. After expressing our concerns, the staff moved us into an air conditioned room the next evening. This was a minor hiccup, but somewhat frustrating as the initial room got very warm in the morning.

All in all, I would say that this is an excellent hotel, however improving the rooms so that there is AC in every room should be a priority.

We stayed at this hotel many years ago under the former name of The Burlington. On arrival at the hotel, the reception staff were very courteous and helpful.

The room was delightful equipped with everything we needed for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable and bedlinen lovely. Would definitely stay at Clayton Hotel again.

The breakfast was amazing with a variety of choices. The restaurant staff were extremely obliging. Thank you.

I took my elderly disabled mother over to Dublin on family matters. Our rooms were very good, my mother slept better than she does at home. The hotel pillows were great for her neck & spine condition. The breakfast room, staff and food were first class. We had our evening meals in the bar and really enjoyed the selection of beers and food on offer to us. On our final night in the hotel there was unfortunately a false fire alarm. This meant that we did not get much sleep that night. Aside from that we had a great stay.

Hotel was fine, what you would expect for the money. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was full when I arrived. Had to park on street for most of the day that I arrived. When I finally got a space it was small and difficult to get into (other cars dumped in non parking spaces). Difficult to get out again. In bar that night and due to an event being on it took approx. 20 minutes to get a drink.

Loved the booking process, location, car parking ,welcome and checkout.
Twin beds [mattresses] were very uncomfortable - have a very sore back requiring pain medication and thermal packs since this visit. Have never had this issue previously but then it has been a double room booking before Pity.
Only 1 set of extra bed linen/ pillow supplied.
My compliments on the cleanliness of main lobby WCs.
Disappointed with salads we ordered in lobby area- viz Goats Cheese Salad; very little goats cheese and swamped with kale and greens- would have loved some more cheese and beetroot and nuts similarly my friends salad was all leaves and little or none of what was in it's descriptor title. We would have expected a more filling salad for the price level.

I love this hotel and have so many great memories of staying here. Now in the safe and progressive hands of the Clayton Hotel group, everything is perfect here once again. Great modern feel inside the hotel, loved the café bar in the main foyer. The main bar is super, great selection of Irish Whiskey. At breakfast there were brown soda bread muffins - delicious and what a great idea! Well done Chef!
