Me and a few friends travelled to Ireland for a week abroad. One of the places that came highly recommended was The Brazen Head. We were impressed by the character of the pub and the awesome atmosphere inside. Our accolades don’t end there, however. We ordered fish and chips, Guinness beef stew, Irish stew, and the tavern burger. All of the food was phenomenal and I absolutely recommend this quaint pub to anyone who might be visiting in the area. Definitely deserves all five stars.

Nice place, but it does tend to attract tourists with its story telling. You can find good beer and the food is quite good. Had a very good salad with Salmon. Fish and chips was good and a friend had some very delicious mussels. This place gets very full on a Saturday night.

Dublin's oldest bar has a quaint setting with a good food and a more than adequate beer selection. I highly recommend this bar to anyone traveling through this area. This place has a novelty and gets rather crowded in the evening

The oldest pub in Dublin they say. It's a berry good place to socialize with your friends. There's a few rooms where you can self seat. My friends and I went into a room full of police and fire department patches. Very nice decors. However, service is a little slow because it's so busy. Food is tasty and has a decent amount of beer selections.

Trendy crowd, polite and easy going staff, awesome band on a Saturday night that knows how to get the crowd going. Rooms with their own unique characteristics outside seating and history that makes it all a great experience. Get a shot of whiskey and a pint of the black stuff to end the night.

This place was amazing. There are lots of different rooms and each room seems to have its own theme. It was very busy when we arrived, but after we found a table we were greeted quickly. The service was great throughout our visit and the food was excellent.

Brazen Head is one of those pubs that simply a 'must-visit' location if on holiday in Dublin. It's incredibly old, full of history, and a beautiful place to have a pint of Guinness (or your other favorite brew). We stopped in after visiting Guinness and am glad we did. It's relaxing and the vibe is wonderful. The food was only 'OK' but I never felt that was the focus anyhow. Go enjoy a great pint or two and take it in. Cheers.

Absolutely loved this pub. It's the oldest pub in Ireland and has lots of character. There were quite a few different rooms with seating and bars. Each room had its own character. I would recommend having a look around each room before you exit the establishment. The servers were polite and attentive for such an extrmly busy location.

Absolutely fabulous place in a beautiful building. I was at a work do recently and we had an amazing "private dining "experience! The staff were friendly and very willing to accommodate us (we were a big group from all over the world). The food was amazing - and something on the menu to suit all tastes! Brilliant atmosphere on a Friday night!

Excellent Pub! Probably the best that I saw in Dublin. They have a nice choice of Irish traditional food as the sausages with mash potatoes. Stay away from the spicy wings..they were overlooked and dry. Nice atmosphere! Perfect for a beermaybe two!

The oldest Pub in Ireland had surprisingly good food, including a vegetarian 3 bean chili. Service was good in spite of the crowd, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. My only issue was the large amount of cigarette smoke drifting into the pub from a pseudo court area which permitted smoking.

Beautiful place. It's the oldest bar in Dublin and it's perfect the stay there for a while, trying typical food and tasting local beers. Great atmosphere, tasty food (I tried the Guinness stew) and correct prices. I recommend

It's a nice pub. There's the obvious tourist line about being the oldest pub etc and they have the t-shirts to prove it. All things being equal, it still has a nice atmosphere. There's good covered seating out in the beer garden, and indoors it's cramped and a bit awkward like an old pub. I'd argue that regular tourists getting pints of Guinness means you'll always get a nice fresh pint. The food is great. Way above average from the standard pub grub.
