Great irish pub and less touristy than the others around the area, bartender stocky guy with glasses really good at his job and knowledgeable about irish whiskey. Atmosphere is great and feels like you are drinking back in time, resonable prices too

Great pub, hasn't changed in years, very good atmosphere, but Temple Bar prices apply, possibly because it is on the edge of Temple Bar.

Best bar on this street. A golden oldie and stands out from all other bars on Temple Bar. Normal prices too and great staff. You will always meet some great characters here.

My favourite bar in dublin. Love the character and the atmosphere. Varied customers but a good place for an older age group. Always get a seat eventually.

Fantastic bar! Great location, great atmosphere and great Guinness. Well worth a visit. I like traditional bars that aren't monkeyed around with or made into sports bars. This one oozes character too!

Classic Dublin pub.. Beautiful interior bar.. Over 210 whiskeys on the menu. Great Guinness. Willy is a great host..

While this was in the middle of Temple Bar, Palace bar was a gem of a place. We spent an entire afternoon drinking pints of different Irish beers. We were surrounded by locals and a very cozy space. the Bartender was super nice. he let us try some beers before ordering. Will be back when I go back to Ireland.

A lovely vintage and oldy style pub in Dublin.

Some great beers on offer and it really has a lovely ambience and atmosphere.

It does get very busy here in the evenings but that just adds to the buzz in here and the bar staff are very good and you get served quickly.

Great bar in the temple bar area. Spent a couple hours talking with the bartender and a local gentleman as well. Patronage was more from local folk than from tourists which was nice. Over 300 Irish whiskeys, and great selections if other types of alcohol as well.
