Just a wonderful place! Out of this world & absolutely amazing food!!!!! We ate here on our 2nd day and have compared food to this place all week. It's small, so be prepared to grab and go if they are packed. And if you sit, in true Irish fashion be patient. Or order your food at the counter and then sit.

I had a frittata here. I loved it but it wasn't served at correct temperature. The salad was a bit dull for my well developed palette but for a novice I'm sure it would satisfy. The interior is traditionally quaint and quirky. Staff were adorable. I loved the haphazard experience and suggest that you try this place regardless of this review. Overall the sweetness in this premesis deserves full attention.

One of the best place to start your day in Dublin as a tourist. It is situated bang opposite of Dublin castle.
They also have one another outlet 2 min walk away which has more capacity of sitting in side and outside.
As far as I have observed the main road outlet get close early then the other one.

Not great at all to be honest - I think this is one of those places that gets a good reputation for just bring trendy. We were told to sit down but then no one came near us to take our order and we had to call someone over, I ordered a meringue which apparently doesn't come with cream, I then asked if I could get cream and they gave me a tiny jam pot sized amount of cream for a huge rock hard meringue. The tea wasn't great and pretty small too. Then when we paid we again had to ask for the change as no one came back over with it. I was in the other queen of tarts recently too and didn't think the food was good there either. I'm sure other people love this place but for me it's overpriced for very mediocre food and service.

Went in for coffee and cake recently. A delightfully decorated place, good coffee and excellent sweeties. Well situated on a pretty pedestrian street with a small but comfy terrace, perfect for people watching, reading or a chat. Very nice staff, efficient and friendly.
Apparently this place prides itself on its excellent bakery; I can confirm that its product lives up to the rep. A deliciously evil peanut/cocoa cheesecake, luscious without being overly heavy.
My friend had the carrot cake. We were both so engrossed in our own cakes that we didn't get a chance to share before they were demolished. Point in their favour! Plus, she assured me that it was delish.
Definitely a recommendation. I'm sure that the lunch/brunch menu is of similar quality.response / report this review -

Stopped by for breakfast this morning - food was decent although not overly generous for the prices they charge - one waitress was particularly snotty in her attitude thoI ordered one tea with one server and another server brought over two teas, I advised her I had only ordered the one tea, she responded to me by rolling her eyes and shaking her head while walking away - the best part was they still charged me for two teas.I didn't catch the mistake until I left the restaurant (my error).I paid the bill with another girl at the counter as per their protocol, no thank you from them for my business or any pleasantries at all - once again it's the service that is in need of improvement where customers are involved.

A very nice café with nice cakes. You can eat there for breakfast, lunch or have a piece of cake at any moment of the day. I recommend the Baileys cheesecake.

Good desserts and tea, the sandwiches are actually very good here. Staff don't always speak English well, but many are students from the area and friendly. Right next to a bookshop and Gaiety theatre.

A cute little tea and sweets shop. The place is cozy with very small tables but cute decor and a good experience for visitor to Dublin. Your tea is served in cute flower tea cups. Therefore not as popular with men but a good place for tea with the girls.

A cozy place to stop by in Dublin for cakes and other treats. We were waiting a few days to come here but ultimately it did not meet my expectations.
We came for lunch and the selection was limited to a soup, a few sandwiches, and some other items. Not exactly what I expected for brunch. I got the Queen's club and while the bread was very tasty, I found that the portion was a little too small. After we finished eating, I was still hungry. My girlfriend got the sausage roll and it was nothing too special. My coffee was a bit bland and did not have the strong coffee taste that I like. To be fair, most reviews for this place are based on the cakes, tarts, and other desserts.
On the bright side, they did get us seated quickly and service is good!response / report this review
