Worst hostel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in MANY. The reception staff (particularly the older blondish woman) is rude and doesn't care about addressing anything brought to the staff's attention. Twice she did this, argued, and wrote it off as if to say "oh well we don't care and nothing can be done anyway." One was a simple matter of luggage storage, and the second was asking them to put a sign on the Kinlay Room saying "NO KNOCKING." You're supposed to enter the room with a key card, and people kept knocking to be let in due to laziness or losing their card, in which case they need to GO TO THE FRONT DESK. There is NO sense of respect in this "community" at this hostel, and it clearly shows from even the staff. Also, it is freezing cold in all the rooms! And the kitchen closes at inopportune hours. I don't see how this hostel is still running with such poor customer care.

Good location, right near Temple Bar, especially for the price. Rooms are bare-bones, but perfectly serviceable. Staff is generally nice and helpful, if a little odd. Bathrooms leave quite a bit to be desired, however.

The staff ia really kind, there is a good breakfast, the bed are ok, the bathroom is a little strange. It's possible laundry and dry your clothes there - you have to pay for. There is a good breakfast and common room. During the night there are to much noise on the street and sometimes is difficult to sleep. But the hostel, in generally is good.

Good location, walking distance to everywhere. I had the room on 2nd floor and sharing with 5 more people. That was my first time in hostel and I had nice experience. Good value for money.

The mattress was super comfortable, and was very clean, as were the sheets. The entire building was clean and welcoming, and the staff was super cool. The turtle in the lobby was cute as well. It's conveniently located to a lot of popular eating places, as well as landmarks. I'd definitely heartily recommend it to anyone staying in Dublin.

Rooms quite clean and relatively quiet except the door slamming in the corridors. Large hostel with a number of showers, never had to wait. Would definitely stay again. The location is fantastic you couldn't be closer to all the action!

Would of given a higher rating but for one reason.

Bunk beds were fine, showers down the corridor fine. Communal area I didn't use because it was small and always full.

The reason? Sat in the room one night and a male member of staff comes walking through our room, no knocking or warning that he was entering just unlocked the door and helped himself. Said he was checking the fire escape but its not on.

Awesome location! Commons areas + BIG common kitchen.

Room had beds and curtains , was clean and quiet. Kind of goofy shower but works!

Luggage storage, roll away cages under bunks, tourist brochures and flyers by front. Walking distance to almost everything or the buses.

Incredible place to stay, very clean and the staff is very helpful.
Is also very well placed, very near to Temple Bar, Trinity College and you also have a LIDL in 15min walking.
The beds are very comfortable and I didn't have got cold any day, moreover, I had some heat some of them.

This hostel is was clean well maintained and for the most part room was nice. However the shower in the bathroom with something that I'm not used to but once I got it figured out it wasn't too bad. The only downside was not due to anything the owners of the hostel did it was just inconsiderate roommates chatting all night long. It is in a great location and not a bad price.

Friendly front desk staff. The rooms and facility are kept clean throughout the day. The kitchen provides a nice area to prepare your own meals if you'd like. The community room has plenty of seating and opportunity to meet fellow travelers.

Yes lockers are in a room outside/in the back but they are secure. The hostel itself is in an excellent location and thus, some rooms will have traffic noise during the day. If you spend your time in the Temple Bar area nearby you shouldn't have too much of a problem sleeping through the night.
