Nice scenery, probably wouldn't go for a swim here although people do and there is a life guard station there during the summer.

Lovely place for a walk. About 15 minutes to do a lap so you may be doing a few laps.

A very pretty beach, there is not a lot there other than the beach and you cannot swim there due to some pollution control failures hence the lower rating. However it is very beautiful and there is additional parking if needed when the front gets full. I did not see anywhere to get a coffee etc. but there were some very basic toilet facilities.

Very orderly. Heavily policed with on the spot fines for litter. Clean walkways. Not a place for dogs, in Summer it offers a beautiful views of the coast of county Clare. This is a quite & peaceful haven away from the city. No fires or alcohol permitted year round.

Walking distance from GMIT, good place to come when sun is out. Most of the time very smelly due to weeds from oceans Good for walk and spend evening time.
