Breathtakingly beautiful campsite! Chris and Tatiana were so welcoming and a wealth of information and their efforts towards keeping this area pristine really shone through. Showers were hot and kitchen well appointed - also a great place to meet other travellers.

We spent three days at Eco Camping & caravan Park. If you like fishing/kayaking/swimming or just relaxing on the beach ,Eco Camping is a fantastic place to be. Crystal clear waters on the Wild Atlantic coast to breath taking views. Thank you Chris & Tatiana for your warm welcome ,we will be back to visit next year.

This campsite is amazing. The location is stunning. The private beach is clean and absolutely beautiful. Chris and Tatiana, the owners, were extremely helpful and keep the kitchen and bathroom facilities spotlessly clean. I’m already planning my next trip!

I've been coming here for years with many different people and occasions, family trips to lads weekends. It's just the perfect place to camp to experience the west of Ireland in all its wild beauty.
Through the years the site has become more popular and expanded but it has never lost its charm and wild camping feel.
The owners have a high standard and go to great lengths to ensure their guests get what they came fora wonderful camping experience.
If you enjoy campingthis place should be on your bucket list.

One of the most beautiful campsites I have visited in 38 years. The location is superb, c 10km outside Clifden off the N59. It has its own beach, which is remarkably clean. All users are encouraged to pick up debris, and bags etc are provided. It is an Eco friendly campsites and so only biological products are used in dealing with waste disposal.
The tent and camper sites are simply part of the grass covered sand dunes landscape, no hardstands. The sand soil allows for a firm base and good drainage. The water is from a local aquifer and conservation is encouraged.
The facilities are; showers, very comfortable, toilets and a kitchen with kettle and microwave. There is tea and coffee on hand for all but there is no shop.
There is a shop, pub with food, post office and petrol pumps c 3.5 km away in Claddaghduff and the town of Clifden is 10km away.
At times of low tide the nearby Omey Island can be accessed by food and car and there is beautiful scenery all round.
Electric pitches are limited and so booking is recommended.
So, a very relaxing site in beautiful surrounds with a beautiful beach.

The location is unsurpassed. The owners are rightfully wary of strangers driving around, it's a campsite, not an off road driving course.

Stayed here with 5 of my friends a week ago for a night as we had planned for an unexpected, adventurous drive to Connemara. Our host Chris was super awesome, friendly and peaceful. We went there only at 7.00 pm, even then he waited for us and helped us in accommodating. The place is well maintained and the beach is very clean and beautiful for night camping and walks. It was a memorable experience. Definitely this would be my Camping ground if I'm in Connemara again.

Stayed here last night with my daughter and our dog and I really couldn't recommend the campsite more. We decided to visit after 2 separate recommendations and now we know exactly why! The location is just perfect (our pitch particularly couldn't have been nicer!), the facilities are always clean and it was exactly what we were looking for - will be back again for sure. Thanks to the owners for the hospitality and the seeds :)
