I have stayed in this hotel during IPA 2018. The cable TV was good, the room amenities are complete, the breakfast menu was fantastic. The only minus point is the access way seems difficult due to some renovation around senayan area

Stay one night at Grand Deluxe Room. The room is very spacious. And they got shower and bath tub at the bathroom. The wifi is super fast. It only took 3 minutes upload to YouTube for 3 minutes video. Too bad the swimming pool is under construction, so we need to walk next to the residence.

Large but old hotel. Considering its location and hotel amenities, it is quite a good value to stay here. But I usually prefers to pay a little bit more to stay in newer hotel.

This hotel used to be called the Hilton even though they are not affiliated with the Hiltom Hotel Group.

It is typical Indonesian business to just blatantly use copyrighted name without permission. As suspected their service is nowhere near as good a the real Hilton Hotel.

Room is a littler dated but the convenience of being next to the Jakarta Convention Centre is great. Breakfast is amazing in its spread. View from the room is wonderful. Stayed at the Garden Tower. The gym and pool are adequate and they use the one at the Sultan Residences.

I stayed for four nights. The hotel have a good location, very close to Jakarta Convention Center. It is also near malls, business district and city center. Breakfast was varied and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The size of the room is large and the beds are comfortable.
I think this hotel is a bit old. The furnishings and bathroom must be renovated.

My mom and I stayed in the Grand deluxe room for one night. We came the day before around 7 pm and we were warmly welcomed by all the staffs. The check-in lasted no more than 2 minutes and the concierge quickly served us with welcome drinks while we were waiting for the check-in. One porter whom I forgot his name politely took our things up to our room. The room was classic, very clean, spacious, and well maintained, but for me it is better to add more lightings and newer chairs. The bathtub was fast-flowing and the heater worked nicely. The breakfast in this hotel has always been magnificent since my first stay 12 years ago, with huge selection and all the f n b was delicious. Overall, it was an excellent stay in a very strategic hotel.

Near access to Jakarta Convention Center. So if you have an event there, this hotel is the best place to stay. Really nice and comfortable. Great restaurants. Offer free welcome drink while you wait for check in.

Although the building is old, but it’s well maintained.

Great *5 hotel in the heart of the city.
The Sultan hotel is the nearest to the Jakarta Convention Center.
A resort style hotel with a very spacious garden.

I recommend booking an executive room, the amenities are from Hermes. A good value for that price.

They have free shuttle bus to Senayan city mall.

I wanted to give the hotel 5 stars but there a few things preventing me. Good spacious rooms, friendly staff, always happy to help. But the pool is out of action, the gym is poor and the breakfast buffet is not all it should be.

The atmosphere is really like a royal traditional palace. I like the view of shining fly over at night from my room in the 11th floor. Their service is quite good and I really enjoy my time in Sultan Hotel

This may be an Indonesian thing, but The Sultan Hotel has some floors and other indoor spaces dedicated to smoking. The hotel is accessible to Uber, the rooms are especially comfortable and have many of the fixtures you'd find in an upper class European or American hotel. My room in particular had a shower, one sink, tub, toilet. The TV did not have any HDMI ports, so I wasn't able to connect my Chromecast. There is also a connecting tunnel to the Jakarta Convention Center which was the primary purpose of my stay.

The Sultan is a jewel in Jakarta, situated out of the city bustle, but within a short distance from the city. The staff are friendly and willing to serve with a smile. the cuisine is the best that Indonesia has to offer. Such a lovely stay!

Rented a penthouse on last new year eve. The room was good and cozy, and my favorite part was the piano. Otherwise, the outdoor area is kinda disapponting. The exterior is so outdated, the jacuzzi isn't as great as i expected,no water heater on the jacuzzi, and the jet stream cannot be ajusted.

A long time 5-Star hotel in the centre of Jakarta. Right at the Semanggi Interchange.
Used to be the Hilton for many years before changing management and naw known as The Sultan.
Jakarta Convention Centre is just next door and the Senayan Sport Complex and Stadium is within walking distance

The building and the rooms are quite old. You can see and smell them. I think it was worse than the last time stayed here a couple of years ago. The breakfast however was very good, and it's the reason I give the place 4 stars. I stayed using a voucher so I didn't pay full price. I would probably be more disappointed if I hadn't.
