Very Indonesia!
The ambience is all Indonesian style with a lot of wood for furniture. Very soothing and calm hotel. With "kecapi and suling" Sundanese traditional music playing at the lounge.

Room is huge and spacious, 2 basins, a big bathtub that fits 2, separated shower and toilet facilities with choices for cold to warm to hot water. Breakfast menu is quite limited but still reasonable with a few local delicacies spread. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, always puts a smile across their face. Staff service is great, greatly recommend this hotel for families, couples or singles, vacation or business trips.

Went here for an event at 9th floor. The room is not too big. I think it is good only for private event.

I also try to eat at their restaurant at 1st floor next to lobby. I ate Nasi Liwet and some soup. For me the taste is not my type.

You can eat indoor or outdoor. The outdoor is more like for smoking area.

The interior of the hotel is very traditional. You can see the employee wear kebaya. I can hear a man playing Indonesian traditional flute from Sunda.

And they have musholla in the baseme
basement. It is very clean and tidy. Good one.

Not really stay at the dharmawangsa. Im attending some seminar held at the dharmawangsa. But by the service, food, and the cleanliness, i can assure the dharmawangsa has its own class

Very nice old traditional Java style hotel with big balconies overlooking beautiful courtyard and pool with many songbirds. Breakfast is good and so is lunch, dinner usually takes time to serve.

One of the best buffet in a hotel in Jakarta. Apparently the Resto also have a name of JAKARTA. Great array meals and cuisines, great service by the staffs. Recommended!

Great swimming pool and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended for middle class tourist. It is cozy and comfortable. The food is relatively moderate (not too cheap and not too expensive). The food is great and tasteful. I suggest you to make a reservation beforehand, because the hotel often fully packed at holidays. The entrance is easy to find.

We held a conference at The Dharmawangsa and the function room, catering and staff were fantastic. The rooms were luxurious and I would definitely recommend The Dharmawangsa to everyone, you won't regret it!

Courtyard @jakarta restaurant is romantic. Spa, pool outdoor and indoor, fitnes centre, meeting room, japanese restaurant, dining room. The hotel is very nice. Butler will assist you 24hour.

Very spacious rooms. Service is absolutely superb. Only Visa and Masters maybe AE is accepted, but other than that all in all a great hotel.

Excellent service and very nice food. The meeting rooms were adequate for small group studies and presentations. Great coffee break snacks too. A bit pricey but comfortable.

High quality service. Well maintained property. Very nice fitness facility with quality equipment. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Restaurant food quality good but service a bit slow. Traveler tip: book airport transfer with hotel and they will expedite you through immigration (that was my experience anyway).

Hidden jewel in Jakarta. Friday night buffet is highly recommended.

My second visit here was even better. Call the hotel to pick you up at the airport. A hotel staff will be waiting for you to help you go thru customs. Friday night bbq is my favorite.

Got food poisoning from the room service. The hotel was obviously at fault. Hotel responded by saying they would only investigate and try to improve if I filled out an intrusive and insulting form that was obviously designed to try to disprove liability rather than actually fix their food services.

In need of a facelift Over the years I've visited the spa and enjoyed several of the restaurants The Dharmawangsa has to offer. Unfortunately the spa is no longer up to 5-star standard - this visit I found stained carpet, frayed towels, over washed robes, filthy upholstery in the ladies locker room, and simply unclean conditions (mould, mildew and hair everywhere). I will be taking my business elsewhere as there are many day spas in the Central / south area.

Simply luxurious. Attentive to details and you won't believe you are in a hotel.

The outdoor pool is 25m and there is an indoor pool with jacuzzi in the BimaSeni building 4th floor. Gym is well equipped and workin out before or after work is good experience.

Madera Big Breakfast, Swedish Meatball and Aglio Olio are all good both in taste and presentation. The cafe atmosphere is nice to have friends or business meeting. Definitely will come again.
