I am truly agreeing with my predecessor in this reviews that the service is excellent. I was there last night and enjoyed a very tasting ginger tea at the pool while waiting to meet the most special woman in my life. The pool is very small yes but i think it shall provide a certain flair which it does. For swimming not suitable.
The hotel has a spa and meeting rooms. All top. If I want a hotel in Jakarta with clean rooms and and perfect service, it can be definitely this one.response / report this review -

Always have excellent service. I highly recommend the foods here. They serve tasty foods, local and international. For the pool, the view is great, just a bit too small, a few meters of sliding in the water and your head will touch the wall. The rooms are good, clean and relatively new.

Its a great place its lil bit old, but its quite clean. Looks like old castle decoration but its quite bright. Basically it's a good hotel. Also good place for Gatherings event..

This is a five-star hotel located in the south jakarta. The staff are welcoming from you open the door untill you check out from there. They have swimming pool, bar, restaurant and any other facility that five-stars should have. But you have to consider the traffic here as it is located in the busiest neighborhood around

I stayed there for one night. The reception was kind to give us early check-in and late check-out. The bed was super comfortable and I got nice rest there. Breakfast was perfect, lots of dishes to chose, and taste great. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Gran Mahakam is probably one of the best hotel in Jakarta. I will stay there again if I got the chance.

Attended a party event at this place. The hotel itself is small but decorated very well. The location is very convenient as it is close to many restaurants and Block M plaza. It has a very good ambience and it looks like they have friendly staff. The food served during the event is good however the staffs were a bit careless (maybe because of the number of people during the event), dropped stuff and bumped people. Might consider to stay here the next time I come.

Amazing stay in the heart of the city. Block m plaza is just around the corner and the restaurant is amazing. The service is absolutely the best. Not the cheapest place around, but the luxury is well worth the price. Absolutely amazing. Such a great time

Very nice hotel where old architecture meets clean line furniture styling. One of the better places in Jakarta to breathe easy and listen to the silence of comfortable accommodations. No smoke, no loud groups of people trying to be heard over one another.
Come to this place and really enjoy the surroundings and first class service. And, they may be the only place in town that still serves real Diet Coke.

This is a small but sweet hotel with very lavish feeling. The age is shown in the corners, and the parking is tough. But it is located in a calm part of Jakarta. Not a family hotel, but for meetings and business this is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the golden triangle.

Nice hotel. We actually went to have dinner buffet at the restaurant. But we're surprised that the price has changed (we had buffet just one month ago ). Rised pretty high. We shoud make a call before. Overall the food is nice. But we will not back for the next time.

This hotel is great, but to be honest, I don't like the way of the workers especially security in serving the people who come to the hotel whether she/he isn't a guest I know it's kinda rude, and guest of the hotel is the priority.. But the thing is, show ur profesionalities everytime especially the way you speak with the people, and try to understand other people needs..

Gran Mahakam is another great hotel in Southern​ Jakarta. It is considered a boutique hotel because of it's unique interior design. Once you get inside the building you will feel a luxury atmosphere. It actually is a great looking hotel. If you are trying to impress someone, Gran Mahakam is definitely a place to go.

an elegant boutique hotel at the edge of southern Jakarta closest to the center - parking is scarce but they have valet service. in the swanky Mahakam st area; instagrammable exterior and interior.

Good and helpful service. Clean spacious rooms. Front desk staff spoke excellent English so it was quite easy to communicate. Located near a mall/convenience stores so that's a plus.

Artistic hotel, maintain its service quality.
Whoever built this hotel, has a sense of art and aesthetics, that still can be felt after decades since the first time I went to work in this city. The building is slim, the outer façade was made to impress passer-by with the European style balcony and windows. The lobby is small, decorated with impressive flower arrangement improvised with lightings. The dining room is aesthetic, using simple white color and use of daylight.

A very nice hotel in the southern part of Jakarta. Gran Mahakam is a good place to have a luncheon in their buffet. And they have a very nice function hall for workshop and meetings.

Nice small hotel in colonial styled building. Located about 30 mins from airport (on good traffic day) and close to shopping centres. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast buffet spread was mixed of Indonesian and international food, good selection but unfortunately limited quantity. The empty food counters weren't refilled although it was only 8:30am (breakfast ends at 10:00am). Coffee took ages to arrive. Staffs are friendly, but lacking efficiency.

Nice boutique style hotel.
Breakfast buffet small but good.
Staff very helpful and the rooms/lobby always clean and tiddy.
Gym is a bit small but has the basics.
Rooftop pool is tiny but quite relaxing with great views of the city around.response / report this review
