This is a review from a real customer. I'm a SPG Platinum Preferred +75 night this year and Marriot Platinum Elite member. I have stayed at numerous SPG and Marriott properties over last 10 years throughout Asia. I had several negative experience at this property during my recent stay without any clear resolution from the hotel. Some of the issues at Keraton Hotel required me to take time off from my work and consumed personal time to address. These were documented in the WhatsApp communication with the hotel management and butler service.

Some of the hotel staff at every level and management were not sincere and not properly trained. Customer service was one of the worst that I have experienced for 4.5 - 5 star hotel with rate around $250.00 USD per night in Indonesia. I intend to reachout to SPG corporate with detailed list of the issues I had experienced during my stay. I do not recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with, splendid services, I've stay in this hotel on the weekend, they have a service that allow their guests to ride a bike in Car Free Day event every Sunday.

Amazing service. Lovely rooms.
Cora, the GM, has a very good team supporting her. They really pay attention to you as a guest and knows how to balance unobtrusive caring engagement. They take effort to anticipate and prepare for your needs.
Hotel is conveniently attached to Plaza Indonesia. An exclusive stay experience with all the conveniences of an attached mall available.

This hotel is superb! The room is spacious, with a great yet complicated design, but I enjoy it! The bed is so comfy, the service is lovely! They greet me with a very lovely merchandise, and it really surprised me in a good way! The indoor pool is quite unique because it’s transparent. But unfortunately it’s not heated so it’s quite cold! Other than that, it was a pleasant stay

The hotel rooms are spacious, elegantly designed with contemporary feel. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The lobby is a bit smallish though. Quality of breakfast selection is good, and healthier options are available. Plaza Indonesia (perhaps the best mall in Jakarta) is next door with very easy access through hotel lobby. Use of carpets is minimal in the room and hence the rooms are much cleaner than topical hotel rooms. Complementary facilities are good too.

Pros:
- large rooms, high ceiling
- connected to Plaza Indonesia
- friendly hotel staff
- good for short term stay

Cons:
- cleanliness below 5 star standard e.g. saw shoe print in bathroom, bath tub not so clean
- very slow response to requests e.g. took two days to fix the in room phone
- issues with laundry e.g. fully pressing pleated shirt in a way that pleats were all gone, lost laundry (only found it after another request of looking for it again)
- if you have high standard for food, you will not like it here. Fortunately, there's Plaza Indonesia nearby
- loud construction nearby, not recommended for ones who are sensitive to noise
- not recommended for longer than a week stay

Keraton has comfortable high-ceiling and spacious rooms in Jakarta's central CBD and it is conveniently attached to Plaza Indonesia mall. What's good about Keraton is that the amenities are complete and generously provided for. The breakfast is also pretty good (both ala-carte and buffet). While it may be a bit soul-less as far as interior design and 'uniqueness of character' is concerned, Keraton is a modern contemporary building that emphasises on comfort and yes, it looks luxurious. This is a homely place you can rely on for quiet moment to relax or to focus on doing your work (for example reading books, writing, etc). Additionally, the place is bright, which is important to me. The only negative is that the swimming pool isn't outdoor and is small relative to one that is available for the separate residence. In conclusion, it surely is one of the few good accommodations and looks like the best SPG property in Jakarta. Will surely return.

Stayed at Keraton for a week and it was a very pleasant stay. The room was very spacious and modern with everything you need provided. Staff was friendly and the kitchen staff was especially accommodating. Would recommend this to people who want to stay in the city at a more boutique and quiet hotel (though there are construction going on during my stay).

The rooms are great with excellent location (central Jakarta) and good service. Only by walking we can go to Plaza Indonesia Mall and if you like buffet brunch just walk to Bengawan. Quite recommended for luxury hotel.

The room is nice with an electronic shade control that I could have a good sleep, even in a broad daylight. The star in room is the bathroom area: spacious, with a bathtub, and a walk-in closet. I arrived on a Sunday morning, so it was just in time for their Sunday Brunch, where I had 3 servings of grilled Kobe beef. Life is good at the Keraton! Oh, it also has a direct access to Plaza Indonesia, just a few steps from my favorite cake place, AMKC Atelier.

Had an opportunity to try SPG's luxury collection during a weekend in Jakarta.
Overall, im very satisfied but there are minor things that bug me.
Room : 4/5 (tv is definitely too close, bed is ok, ac are too cold)
Service : 5/5 excellent ( starwood's premium service)
Facilities : 4.5/5 (pool is too small, but they open 24 hrs, executive lounge is amazing facility)
Location : 5/5 (located next to Jakarta's best shopping mall)
Food : 5/5 (breakfast is excellent with great taste and many choices)

Would give 4.5 stars but unfortunately Google does not allow it.

Looking forward for next visit.

stayed here during weekend, definitely worth every penny!

manage by SPG, the room is very spacious overlook downtown jakarta. got a acrylic walled pool which is awesome, but unfortunately not a heated pool. note that they have resident restricted pool that cannot be used by hotel guest.

the direct access to plaza indonesia turn out to be very handy to find dinner and do some shopping.

Hotel beautiful, location excellent, service attentive, executive lounge goes above & beyond Probably the best hotel I've ever stayed at, and I travel internationally. Only complaint is that it's not the most pedestrian-friendly hotel to enter and exit if you plan to explore the city on foot at all. But it is connected to the mall itself for convenient access to upscale shopping.

Been here a while ago, totally luxurious hotel. The name 'Keraton' means 'Palace' in bahasa. It has direct access to the Plaza Indonesia mall, an upscale shopping mall in Jakarta.

Location couldn't get more convenient than this, enjoyed easy access to Plaza Indonesia and nearby Grand Indonesia. Concierge was very helpful, and did so cheerfully as well. My friends and I wanted to swim rather late and the staff were very nice to accede to our request. Biscuits at the lobby were yummy as mentioned by many. Happy to see the flowers every morning.

Enjoyed everything in the room from the giant stand alone tub to the comfy slippers.View was great. Only minor complain would be the welcome platter (not so good).

Lounge service was a little slow but food is fine.

Very luxury hotel in central thamrin jakarta. The hotel building close with The plaza and Hotel Grand Hyatt. Staff friendly, service excellent, comfortable bed and room so large, they have modern closet with so many option tools touchscreen hehe
