I was in transit and wanted to stay somewhere nice to relax for a night. I chose the basic room option with breakfast included. The room did not have a city view.

Overall, the room was nice. Cleanliness and maintenance was not an issue. The room was a bit on the small side however if you are travelling with allot of luggage, and the smaller hand towels had a slight smell of wet laundry. We did not use them.

If money is no obstacle, the upgraded room is a definite step up and worth paying for the larger bathroom and floor space.

The hotel is located just across the road from 2 large malls; Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia. Both are about a 5 minute walk away. You can also find bottled water at street vendors outside the premises.

The staff were all very friendly and professional. Passing through security was a breeze and the concierge service were very quick to take my luggage and direct me to the check in desks. Check in took less than 5 minutes.

The breakfast was excellent, and probably one of the selling points for returning to this hotel. Again, the staff were very friendly, and the variety and quality of the food and drinks was very good. I enjoyed the fact you get a full thermos when you order a coffee, so you can refill your cup twice before having to ask for another.

The gym is well stocked with equipment.

It’s a nice, clean, well facilitated all purpose hotel. There is a sizable swimming pool with drinks and food served at pool side. Service was very good. I only give five stars when there is something surprisingly good.

Maybe one of hotels with the best costumer service in Indonesia! Located in the heart of Jakarta, bunderan HI and you only need to walk around 5 minutes to get to Plaza Indonesia across the hotel and Grand Indonesia Shopping Town next to it. I love their all u can eat buffer and especially their gelato!!!!!!! The best!!

One of the best luxury hotel in Jakarta. The room is spacy and clean, the ballroom and the whole hotel design is modern and contemporary. The hotel service also great. Located in a strategic area and easy to notice from normal traffic. The foods served are also delicious and tasty. But unfortunately it is not offering budget accomodation, the price is a bit high for general people.

Overall, this is an upscale and contemporary hotel with clean facilities and rooms. Entry level rooms are a bit small though. Breakfast buffet is fantastic with lots of live cooking stations and different variety of cuisines from around the world.

Exceeded my expectations on every level. The spacious lobby to the executive lounge, checking in was a pleasure. The suite is really huge amble space for my wife and i. Wide variety of menities are given. We also have the international dinner buffet, spoilt for choice. It had Japanese, Chinese, Western and Indonesia stations. Very high quality food. Tastes great. The service from every staff we met and interacted was excellent. The hotel is also located right opposite a mall. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Nice hotel - good service and the name recall of staff is pretty impressive. Bed and pillow were super comfortable but room was a bit tired. The Back Room Bar was 'interesting'. Normally not a fan of a hotel buffet but this one was great (both breakfast and dinner)

Another Pullman for me, this time in Indonesia. Fantastic location and fantastic staff.

We came for the New Year's Eve party and was not disappointed. The staff put on the most amazing event with a live Dj and balloons and various stalls selling traditional Indonesian dishes.

The deluxe room with interconnecting room is spacious and well presented.

The swimming pool is nice and cold.

The breakfast is amazing.

The executive lounge my favourite in Asia. So many helpful and friendly staff.

I really love this hotel.

Well priced, well run hotel. Location looks good on map but note need to walk over footbridge to get to Plaza Indonesia so not as convenient as it seems. As with most Accor hotels rooms are quite small and bathroom can be better (why do they seem to have glass window or lack of proper door on bathroom.I prefer a little privacy)

Check in experience with Sian was first-rate. She is an asset! Warm, friendly, articulate and informative, she was able to assist me in finding all the places I needed to visit on my business trip. Very grateful she was on duty!

Your staff at breakfast, housekeeping and in the bar were all extremely helpful and customer focused. Excellent team. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast selection was second to none.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, always for business. I spend a lot of time travelling around the world, and stay in a lot of hotels - you get fussy about the small things when you travel a lot, because they are important.
I love this hotel. Everything is really first class - the rooms, staff, services, restaurants - everything. It simply is the best hotel of anywhere in the world that I stay.

From the moment I stepped into Pullman, the reception was fantastic you will feel like a guest of honor! Really! The check-in was a breeze, the hotel room is modern, well decorated and the bed, pillows are so oomph! The break fast spread was excellent! Location is within short walking distance to restaurants, Skye bar, etc., you'll never feel left out! I told my peers that if I ever come to Jakarta again, I'm gonna stay in this Hotel again!

This is my second stay in Pullman Thamrin. I reached the hotel at 4pm and the room is not ready yet.I waited until 4.35 to get my room. I remember I told them I wanted a smoking room, but it does not have. The next day, they promise they will give me a smoking room. However, I need to wait until 4pm to get one.
The location is good. It is near Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia. The breakfast is awesome. The facilities like swimming pool, hotpool in the Changing Room is good

My second stay after 3 years. Room was quite spacious and I got upgraded to the new wing. Always love the service by the executive lounge staffs, though some check in counter staff does not really know what is the best of platinum members. Location is supposedly superb as it is in the heart of Jakarta, but unfortunately there is a construction of MRT in front of the hotel so can be a bit noisy. Breakfast was great and have so many variety. The food from executive lounge was also perfect. Love this hotel, though unfortunately Accor Plus benefit is not valid here.

Stay at the hotel was awesome! love the pillows and bed. it is so comfortable. Breakfast is fastantic, with my favourite blue cheese with bread and sparkling water served in the buffet spread. However, the coffee need more improvement. Cant really taste the coffee bean.

Overall, i love staying with Pullman. I will definitely come back if i have the chance to go to Jakarta again.

I was met with warmness and friendliness every time I had an errand with the hotel staff, at the reception, at the breakfast, at the lounge and at the gym. The hotel has a spacey lobby. I got full recognition for my platinum status, an upgrade to a suite and access to the executive lounge and a plate with fruits at the room. I was very impressed by how much I could choose from at breakfast, I had not time to taste all that was there. This is a hotel I recommend to stay at. / Sten, guest during July 2017.

I have stayed in Pullman Thamrin at least 5 times these two years. Staff are overall very friendly and helpful.
The room on the 4th floor smelt of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. The staff were very helpful to assist me in moving the room.
Cleanliness can be improved. I was sneezing for 3 days until I got the housekeeper to clean the dust that was stuck to the wallpaper. The carpet behind the bedside tables were not vacuumed well too.
The breakfast selection was monotonous. I see the same selection for 6 days. The salted butter at the bread station often runs out and servers neglect to replenish it.
The coffee beans were not fresh beans and hence, the quality of the coffee, was affected badly.
The broth for the noddle station is not tasty and had no depth in taste.
However, The hash browns recently were pretty good.

No complaints, service and interactions by hotel staffs are great.
Although comparing to previous stays at Pullman Central Park, I had much better experience as a Platinum member. I and my colleague were upgraded to executive room, definitely feeling much more appreciated, as after all myself and my guests are staying at Accor hotels at least a combined 60 nights in a year using my membership.

The hotel is located near shopping malls and easily accessible to museums and old town. The room is clean and the staff is ever so nice from entering hotel to the room. We were greeted with smiling faces and good wishes. We would like to thank the concierge staff for helping us to get taxis especially to Hary. Good job and hope to come back again.

The hotel is about 45 mins from the airport. We were greeted with all smiles from the moment we arrived the hotel, all the staff were so helpful and smiley. Even though it was still early, we were allowed to check into our room. Room was clean, very comfortable and bright. The only down side to the room is the low water pressure in the bathroom. Breakfast selection was huge and food is really good. Location wise, it is within walking distance to low and high end shopping malls. Plus, there was no issues with flagging a taxi or looking for local food. We stayed at Pullman Central Park before but this hotel definitely outdo the other Pullmans. We will definitely return for our next getaway. Good job to all the staff at Pullman Thamrin!

Modern 5-star hotel with spacious lobby, great restaurants and bars and super friendly staff. It's not the newest, but the hotel looks spotlessly clean and well kept. The pool is nice and comes with the best hotel gym in town. The deluxe and grand deluxe rooms are my favorite. This hotel is one of the best in Jakarta!

The room was cleaned and well kept by the housekeeping. Bathroom curtain (to separate bedroom viewing) is broken but I was by myself (OK for me).

Foods at breakfast and lunch on 1st floor were excellent with nice environment and staff.

I have always loved to stay at your Grand Deluxe Room because of the size, cleanliness, new and the ambience, however during my last stay I am quite dissappointed with the air condition. I have always like my room cold to remain comfortable especially in the hot weather. I have set the air condition to cool mode, high fan and temperature at 16 degrees, however even though I left the air con on the whole night at that temperature, I still can't sleep with the blanket over me. Hopefully you can have it figured out for my next trip. I did not make a complain to the front desk though, cause I am too tired from the flight and only on a 2 night stay.

The hotel itself, its facilities and its location are great. I think the problem that the hotel has is its people. I just had a very disappointed experience with the hotel service staff. She was arrogant, and ill-mannered. The security staff also showed low mentality, unable to separate guests from general visitors so treated people poorly. After voiced my comments to one of their managers, the response from the manager didn't show any different quality. The response was arrogant, and generic, and showed low intellectual. No wonder that its staff expressed the same way.

I came here a few weeks ago with my family and we had the Grand deluxe room with connecting doors to the other room we booked also. I could say the rooms were very beautifully decorated and very big. My room had a sort of walk-in closet that was in a seperate smaller room, and had a path to the connecting room. They also had good breakfast, served international food as a 5 star hotel would provide. the hotel was near plaza & grand indonesia mall but i thought it was a 5 minute walk as its in right across the hotel but you should go by car and its a 15minute drive. but overall, i would definitely come back here.

Beautiful new designed hotel in the middle of the city centre. Could not sit at coffee area without consuming something. Not friendly for a 5 star hotel! Otherwise a 5 star. Good selection of restaurants.

I had a beautiful room and the hotel in general is modern and fresh. As I stayed in a Club room I had access to the executive lounge which was very convenient as I could work there. But the lounge also provided a good breakfast. The location of the hotel is good but at the moment there is a bit of construction work going on as they are building a subway line so be aware of this if you get a room facing the road. I had a room facing the other way and I was woken up at 4 am as the there is a mosque nearby.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a Grand Deluxe Room which was in a different wing from the main hotel. The room was very comfortable.

Alas we did not get to try many of the facilities in the hotel as we had a busy itinerary and there were many attractions and major shopping malls nearby. Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia being the go to for food and coffee.

Staff are very friendly and very helpful. We would love to return for future visits to Jakarta.

I stayed here one night, because the reserved room in other place is closed. All other things are good, but what I wonder is that the water pressure is too low in the shower room. I paid over $300 per one night, and the facility of this is same as $300 per month one. That's why I set 3 stars.

Building from outside just look normal but interior inside was wonderful

The hotel has very long history back to 60s. It was known initially as Hotel President and managed by Nikko Hotel, hotel chain of Japan. Then mid 1990s after Asian Monetary crisis hit Indonesia, it was re-branded as Nikko Hotel and Tower. Now it's new name is Pullman Hotel Jakarta Thamrin.

This should be an excellent hotel, but they don't even do the basic thing right. Their WiFi is freely open to public, not encrypted or even password protected, they simple allow customers data flowing freely around without any protection, this is totally not acceptable. Lucky, they have the best breakfast in town, which give then 3 stars rather than 1 star.
