I love staying here. The room were nice and clean, and breakfast was excellent. The hotel has a good sport club/gym, tennis courts, big swimming pool and loved the landscape garden. Highly recommended to stay at the Borobudur Hotel.

An old established hotel at the heart of Jakarta. Perfectly situated at the city center, yet has the luxury of green garden surrounding the area. Very calming and relaxing for family. There is playground for kids, big and smaller swimming pool, and fish pond for children excitements. The breakfast buffet is great and every dish is delicious. There are several restaurants inside including Japanese & Italian ones. Do not miss its legendary oxtail soup!

Kids friendly hotel. It has a child playground, swimming pool, and tennis field. Family room is a spacious one with full carpet floor. This is nice for my 1 yr old daughter who just learn to walk. The downside is only the parking lot is pretty far to walk

Slow receptionist, we had to wait for 2 hours due to the room we book is unavailable, got the room at 16.30, nice swimming pool, bed not comfy

I love staying here. The room, bathroom were nice and clean, and breakfast was excellent. The hotel has a good sport club/gym, tennis courts, big swimming pool and loved the landscape garden. Highly recommended to stay at the Borobudur Hotel.

A 4 star hotel that has the potential to upgrade to 5 stars. Rooms are large and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. You can do your jogging or morning walk in the gardens then jump in an impressive pool that is almost worthy of professional swimming competitions. Areas that could be easily improved are service and food. Service is nevertheless acceptable, but food is mediocre. Breakfast is shameful for a hotel this size and with such a large clientele. The only decent restaurant on the premises is the Chinese restaurant, but it is somewhat pricey. I would stay there again because of its location and beautiful grounds, but next time I will do my best to eat elsewhere.

Love the hotel so much. I've stayed here several times. It is a very old hotel, but very very well maintained. It's like staying in your rich grandma's house, it has that old luxurious warm you don't find in younger hotels. It has an Olympic size swimming pool and a new great spa facilities. The staffs were amazingly friendly, helpful and surely know how to treat guests well. The rate is also reasonable for the facilities you get.

It's hard to mention any bad about this hotel as everything they do is excellent. Perhaps it feels bit dated at times but they are working hard to modernise it.

It has several restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Italian and Indonesian) and they are of such high standards that around lunch and dinner time they are full with outside guests.

There is a running track, tennis court, soccer field, Olympic swimming pool and a recently opened fitness area. The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely loyal and helpful: all of them want to ensure you have the best possible time.

This hotel set the standards for all five star hotels in the area. Be sure to check their website for special deals as you can save quite a lot if you book at the right time.
