A simple two-star hotel. A three story building without lift, guests have to walk up the circular ramp in the middle of the building. So it is better you book room at the first floor. Simple room with wash basin in the hallway not in the bathroom. Simple breakfast menu. Friendly staffs with pleasant service. The scenery out of the hotel window is swamp and the river banks of the the wellknown Kahayan.

1. Good location near to shopping mall (Tunjungan Plaza).
2. Wide option of local culinary at evening time around hotel.

It is a homey place for budget hotel. Nice service and keep smile from the hotel officer.
More exciting when I know that a lot of traditional famous Surabaya culinary near from this hotel. You can meet the legend chicken fried culinary from Surabaya as known as Ayam Goreng Pemuda and Ayam Goreng President. Both of them were legend culinary since I was a kid.
And you can going to Rawon Setan just walking from this hotel.

Kamar bau rokok, ac sama sekali tidak dingin. Kalau mau menginap disini pastikan pesan kamar non smoking dan ac dingin. Pros: dekat mall besar seperti tunjungan dan bg junction, banyak sekali warung makanan di sekitarnya seperti rawon setan dan bebek sinjay

A nice hotel to stay in while you are in Surabaya, unfortunately it has a minimum parking 🅿 lot, especially when there is (are) event(s) in it, then you should prepare, currently, about 10 grand rupiahs for valet parking if it happened.

I'm not going to say this is a perfect place to stay. But, considering the price, it's good enough to stay for a few days.
The service could be improved.
Breakfast menu and taste are pretty standard (a little bit bland). You'll get bored easily if you stay for a few days.
For rooms, they have smoking and non smoking rooms, for those who hates smokes, it's not recommended to take the smoking room (you don't say? Haha).
Once, I ordered a connecting room (for family of course), but somehow they can't open the connecting door. What a shame
On the other hands, the location is pretty strategic. It nears Tunjungan Plaza and it's easy to find dinner because street foods are located on the road around the hotel. Mini markets are available few meters away from the hotel.response / report this review -

Room was very small, bed was comfortable enough. Water pressure was strong with working hot water. Breakfast was decent tho in my opinion the service was late (some of the food wasn't ready by the time it started), but they had more than enough variety compared to another same star hotel.

Some areas to look at:
- Sink is starting to get moldy.
- bed sheet is not immaculate, i. e. there are some dirty spots here and there.
- shower head is starting to have rust and a bit clogged
- the sprayer next to the toilet seat is leaking
- seal lines on the wall is deteriorating, showing holes and allowing insects such as ants and even tomcats to stay inside.
Pros:
+ price is reasonable
+ wall is relatively sound proof
+ amenities are sufficient.
+ close to Tunjungan Plaza mall
