perfect hostel where have fun with friends. The workers are very open-minded and nice; the rooms are clean; the breakfast is good. I loved the decor.

We were really impressed with Wombats. The room was really clean and the staff was professional, spoke English and were very helpful with our questions. There is a metro stop within a 4 min walk that you can get really anywhere in the city with no problem at all. The area was lively but still felt safe. In fact, at no point during our visit did we feel unsafe. The shower's water temperature had some trouble regulating during peak hours but if that's my only gripe I think I would recommend Wombats to anyone! There is also a Kurdistani restaurant named Mir right down the road where you can get a Döner Kabob (gyro) that will blow your taste buds right off your tongue and cheap too :) enjoy!

Do not expect your bed to be made. I came late at night so I needed to make my bed while everyone in the room was sleeping. Awkward situation! All the rest was fine.

I loved this hostel! Very clean and nice rooms, and they cleaned the bathroom everyday which I really appreciated. The lobby area was very nice and there were always people down there hanging out and having a good time. Very friendly staff, and GREAT central and safe location!

It is a enormous hostel. Except that you are sharing a room with other strangers, lobby, facilities are just like a hotel. Nice lobby and bar, not bad laundry room and good bar tour. Most of all, the location is just awesome!

This place ranks in the top 10 Hostels I have stayed on. The reception personal was always very so helpful when ever needed and thanks to them my stay in the city was better for it.
The rooms were clean and spacious.
The lobby was alive with travelers having a great time playing table football or pool.
The bar in the lobby had the best prices I have ever found in a hotel bar.
They even serve breakfast with some options to choose from.
Over all stay it was a pleasure and I am happy to have made the decision to stay here.response / report this review -

Decent sized room, good beds and good sheets. Close to city centre, as well as just stations and metro so easy to get around. Lots of food near by and has a bar, though it closed early one of the nights so far

Very nice hostel!! I also stayed at their Vienna Naschmarkt hostel which was great too. City center is 15-20 mins walk. Staffs are professional. You will find clean white sheets and covers on bed when you arrive. Breakfast buffet was great. Thing I didn't like was that my room had big roof windows without any curtains. So it gets very sunny very early in the morning. Tips: If you are staying in Wombats hostels later on your trip, make sure to collect their stamps to get free breakfast later.

Wombats city hostel was comfortable, safe and sound convenient location. Wombats city hostel had a nice breakfast and the staff was lovely. I will definitely recommend this hostel to fellow travelers, especially travellers who have backpacks.

This Hostel it's awesome. Perfect location, 2min to the metro stop. Restaurants and bars on the same street. There's lawndry, bar, pool table,etc. If you are a "Hostel traveller" that's the best Palace to stay in town.

We were not satisfied with our stay here at all. First didn't get refunded a night when I emailed two nights before and was told everything was fine with my late arrival and would get the money back. The guy at the reception when we checked in was not welcoming and was very rude. Our bathroom sink in our room smelled like something was dead down it. Got hassled by Gypsy's and prostitutes right outside the door every night while smoking. And did not like the maids barging in the room with out knocking several times a day. The good experience we had was meeting a few of the guests.
