Great area. So many cheap restaurants and cafes in this northern part of the Pest side. Friendly staff, and quite accommodating for anything you need

The staff are friendly, it's located very centrally, and it's just a nice place to be. I would highly recommend it for anyone going to Budapest on a bit of a budget. Would give six stars if I could.

One of those small and well managed hostels where you do not want to leave. Many pepople here had extended their stays because of the value and fun atmosphere. I am going back at the end of my travelscannot wait.

Great value. Safe, clean and friendly. Close to great coffeeshops, bars, restaurants, bakeries, the jazz club, and mass transit. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 7 nights here from 3/7~3/14 2016, awesome experienced in africa room and india room.
Bed: Individual single beds with real mattresses, not bunk beds. I wake up pretty late so I'm around when the staff does housekeeping, and I watched them change everything, pillow cases, bed sheets, the duvet (warm and comfortable), and they put a big cover to cover over all the beds to keep dust off of your freshly made bed until you arrive. The mattress sits on top of a real and heavy wooden bed, with 2 really big wooden storage underneath the bed, I had no problem storing 2 carry on luggage into ONE of these (the other storage I kept for snacks) and they let me borrow a padlock for a deposit of 10 euros.
Location: In a relatively local and none touristy area, so expect office buildings, banks, dental offices, supermarkets, and restaurants that locals go to. I ended up getting a haircut (english speaking salon), going to 3 authentic foreign restaurants, going to 2 banks and ernst & young, which are all 5-7 min walk away from Aventura.
Transport: Underground major subway stop Nyugati pályaudvar is 3 min walk from here. Overground is Budapest's Western Railway Train station, you can also take the railway MÁV to the airport (cost a bit more than if you took the subway and 200E bus). It is also connected to a lot of bus and tram routes to get to other places in Budapest, just make sure you know the direction of where you're going because there are a lot of connections and exits from this transport hub.
Hostel overall: It is very much a home, but as a guest if you need something or are worried about something, you need to speak up and ask, and they will always do their best to help you out. Wonderful people, you can definitely get a good night sleep here. Know that a lot of people check in and out everyday, use the bathroom, showers, so don't expect everything to be new, but expect everything to be clean. I haven't gone to the bathroom or the showers where it wasn't kept clean.response / report this review -

Great place -especially for young people- and staff are so friendly and helpful. Also it's located in a great place and the atmosphere in the hostel lets you feel like being in your own house.

Good location, good prices. Rooms are awesome, i love the mezzalines instead of bunkbeds. It offers more space and your bed doesnt keep shaking every time your bunkmate moves slightly.
